Super helpful. Definitely the best multicam tutorial I've seen on TBE. Thank you for putting in the time.

Excellent! Re 4:34 I just found out that instead of hitting CTRL + A to select all tracks, CTRL + Shift + K will cut through all tracks without having to select them. That's the equivalent of holding the Shift key when the razor tool is selected.

Hey, amazing video. I found it really useful as I'm a beginner with premiere pro. Could you please also tell me how you got the fading spotlight effect on yourself when you were showing us the screen? I love how the little circle shows you mildly blurring into the background. Very subtle. Please share how you did it and if it was in adobe or another software? Thanks again for the video!

Hey! Thanks so much. I go over that technique in this video: 5 MultiCam Editing Tips in Premiere Pro for Faster Editing kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZ_PoYeeo7Ood6c Good luck editing in Premiere and let me know if I can help you out in any way with more tutorials!

Good video. The next step I really want to take, is getting to where we can use AI to help consolidate an edit purely through the text/dialogue we get from the interviews.

As first cut?
@DavidSelbyfilms2 ай бұрын
@@RobertMTeegarden I guess that was pretty vague! I'd love to be able to take a transcript from several interviews and feed it to a language model, and then have it spit out a rough story based on whatever criteria I provided... And then take what it spits out and pump it right back into Premiere to get a faster rough cut. It seems like it's kinda sorta possible right now, but in a long, tedious fashion. **From what I have seen! I was actually searching for a solution to that exact approach when I found your video.

Oh, ya! Gotcha. That would be very interesting. I think it would be great to have those talking points selected as markers and an additional timeline created as V1/rough cut. I still like a lot of flexibility in the edits but love transcripts as a tool to reference VO in a hurry. Helps a ton, especially with pieces that have several Interviews.
