Hahahaha - this is very true. I remember earlier in my editing days reading an article from an old producer about the different types of video editors he worked with and his favorite category was musicians-turned-editors. He associated their ability to tells stories to their musical ability to build tension and resolution fluidly and loved how the two skills transitioned into each other. As a musician, that made me smile.
