I noticed that yours does more of a hop for the dodge. I'm trying to figure out why I have a different animation...

i disagree with the piercing defence personally since this is also a sustained melee unit after the charge and most damage will come from slashing damage. if you are charging into pikes and taking piercing damage a lot, you are doing it wrong (except if it is a sneaky rear charge into pikes , by all means valid move). But then again it comes down to preference there i think for the doctrines if you find lots of archer units ruining your day.

Tip: if you paly them X V X V then you can take the top daze effect because everytime you press vV they trow their shields so it is not worth taking the increased use one

Most of people in sieges dont use walls to move.. and let cavs ruin all match i hate to see it i use stairs just place units let cav come kill them stop them move again.. people run and die. when my cavs go sometimes zero kills.. i dont know.. show me charge against Axe raiders.... it will tell everything maybe

15 people and 0 deaths. Tells you something is wrong with the game, it ain't SC2 or Dota2, microing one unit and its one useful ability shouldn't be the pinnacle
