@@HandBananaPvP Hey I know this video is more then a year old but I just recently started playing this game with a friend of mine. We mostly just play siege battles and it has been a lot of fun. I have just recently also picked up imperial pike guards and noticed I have a purple Pike Defence Doctrine (30% reduced damage while bracing against cavalry) and I was wondering if this would be a good doctrine to put on there. I dont know if you still have insight in this game and if you still play it but if you do it would really help out. For the rest great video I've learned a lot from it.

Great guide bro! one thing tho, I have tested the IPG's both vet lines with a friend and top vet line is broken for sure. They do not walk faster like it says , the firm grasp vet point woks in both lines even tho in bottom doesn't have that vet point. so you have about 3 wasted points going top. I would really recommend bottom line myself

I do like the way you show both veterancy lines, i was going top without thinking about bottom line could be usefull, after watching i deciced to go bottom line :) thank you for the guide

I didn't understand some things, all the gameplay after the explanation of the bottom line, was a bottom line gameplay right? If so, i'm really going for bottom xD Also, i didn't saw your troops getting stuned by anything, does the stun hability really mean anything while advancing? Stun from other pikes right? Does that include ultis, example from Glaive(Flying reaper) , Shortsword ulti... I really liked how you did the explanation and strategies for the pikes, thanks for sharing your experience!

I love camping with my Imperial Pikes at Kurak Castle Point A. Advance-Heal Up-Repeat It's always funny if ppl think Paladins/Condos etc can charge into Imperial Pikes

Imp pikes are my core unit i bring, they just stop everything, and are good even to push units and heroes put of point even if few of them, never tought about going bottom line, will try it out for sure

Great video HandBanna! One question do you get the bracing damage while advancing? In the whole video you only braced once so it looks like the doctrine isn't that effective on them! PS For the weapon guides I would say Longsword or Glaive as those weapons seem to have the most dynamic kits! Each weapon has multiple play styles while other classes like the Shortsword or Spear usually have one agreed upon meta build.

Considering the advance insta kills reapers when charging like a braced unit would do I put it on them, not sure if it amplifies it or not but that was my theory on it and forgot to mention it! XD yeah glaive would be cool we shall see! :D

@@HandBananaPvP Thanks HandBannana! I'll see if I can find out for sure, that's a good theory! I wish conqueror's blade would add a detailed description of the abilities similar to league of legends so you can actually figure this stuff out without having to resort to trial and error!

What you think about the sergants with Hellebarde ? I struggle between the imperial pikes and the helbards and i Chose the Hellebarde because on paper they Look better, but After Watching your Video, kam Not sure

Imperial pike guards are better than halb sergeants by alot that advance can completely turn the tide in a battle with a quickness! :D

You use the polearm doc instead of piercing pen? I've always found their brace to kinda suck

My reasoning for it is how reapers insta die to their advance like a braced unit would take increased damage I would think it's considered a brace but no confirmation on it Pyan told me about it but dont know for sure but cant hurt and their brace does suck xD

Yeah spear has been highly requested so it will def be high up on the list, and the optimal skill setup for spear is Lughs March, Procris Gift (Spear Kick), Hurricanes Edge, Dragons Roar(ult)
