That's how I prepared for months for joining up with the green berets back in the day and I was told I broke the (pre-selection) record with 36 times (against a wall, straight legs and full pull-ups). 😎

Nah.. the shoulder movement ist no necessary.. yes you get a little bit of activation in the lats but is not an effectiv way to train them.

This man is a f beast, how is he not bigger with especially with such pulling power.. i am aware people have different genetics and not everyone train for hypertr. But still - damn, he should pack more down the road with such pro level training..
@andrewmadeup73757 сағат бұрын
Awesome. Better than Tom. But why? We had a reason. Climbing. What is your reason?
@andrewmadeup73758 сағат бұрын
As a climber we did pull ups on our finger tips for the first 80 or so reps. Then onto other pull ups. Main aim strength with no added weight. Not as strong as this man maybe but at 65kg I bet i could do more pullups on my fingers than most.
@cosmopolitanussum4857 сағат бұрын
80 or so reps? How many sets, rests and how long between sets? That sounds ridiculously lot :)
@mr.bk_mrbk8 сағат бұрын

Can doin just weighted pullups get me this strong?
@kjabber72458 сағат бұрын
Huh. I'm not too concerned about the pullups at the moment...but isn't that the same muscle often associated with tennis elbow? I'm going to try that exercise and see if I can work my way through this pain.

Funny story, when I first set up my gym in the garage, I couldn't afford a pull up bar. So I just screwed a piece of 4x2 to the ceiling rafters and used that! Guess I knew what I was doing 😂 😂 😂 😂
