Just break those pits and eat the seed inside. They are so nutritious and so tasty. Can even extract oil from them, it's healthier.

The pits can be cracked open and have an almond-flavored kernel inside . It's very high in vitamin B17 and is believed to possess capabilities for curing CANCER, as many pit meats from fruits are believed to do. Loving it! Clear and concise and to the point! I have apricots and roma tomatoes that I want to water bath in the same bath at same time. Is this ok?

HOTT! Grew up eating "Fruit Rollups". LOVED them. I use Apricots to make jam, Tarts and so on SO ... this would be hot to make homemade.

trying to figure out how long to boil for my elevation. one guide said 10 minutes for non sterilized jars and 5 minutes for sterilized plus 1 minute for every 1,000 feet above sea level...so 25 minutes seems long. I guess it doesn't hurt. Wonder what is your recipe for syrup made with honey? Does the honey change the color of the fruit? Thanks great video!

Thanks! I feel that other videos leave a lot of info out. I’ve never canned before but picked a bunch of apricots and want to try!

I love The Canning Garden site! I recently was gifted some fabulous tomatillo salsa from Ms. Kristin. It was delicious. It had the perfect balance of heat, salt, and acid. I am unsure what and where it tasted best. I tried it on quite a few things. Was it best on eggs, in tuna fish salad, on chicken breast with sour cream or was it just best on my fingers?! Nancy Sanderson PS Keep up the work and delicious recipes, my friend.
