It's just all too fast at the beginning, and they use jargon within minutes like we know what they mean. Everyone says this is a great video, so I'll stick with it, but I think I need to read something in addition.

At 25:40, the defender could have saved an overtrick by rising with the AH instead of JH! Then leading a spade, partner ruffs with the KH and you later make the JH. Not a very likely play, I'll admit ... but it works! ;-)

Twice-baked souffle, dear heaven how hideous! The color of that sauce with cooked pear, yikes! Impressive that he is self taught. Total respect. Amazing how food tastes change over time.

Excellent documentary. Been studying the history of bingo. It seems that humans beings keep longing for community. Church lost it’s popularity, working men’s clubs are nearly gone - along with most of manufacturing and, of course, mining. The smaller local pubs (remember the meat raffle?) have gone bust and largely disappeared. They weren’t all bad and helped us keep an eye out for each other, the elderly or those that lived alone. If a regular didn’t turn up for a few days, one of us would go n check they’d taken their milk in and that they were OK or maybe needed help. Ah well, that was the past and we did things differently there. Thanks for the upload 😊❤
