I remember this series and originally broadcast for the BBC in 1983-85, and all I remember the voiceovers in the series-Alexis Korner and John Junkin, and used to screen on Thursday or Friday nights and it`s one of my all-time favourite quiz show and above all I do like the intro and outro music from Ronnie Hazlehurst, and I like it so much and I would like to see them again, because it brings me back memories of me.

This is actually from the mid 1990's as a re-run.. the original airdate was in 1983

I wonder if this was the first BBC game show to give away decent grand prizes because Blankety Blank had grand prizes that were cheaper than its budget.

And then came "Bob's Full House" which also had decent prizes as well, while "Blankety Blank" was stuck with the crap. Largely so Les Dawson had something to joke about.

I’ve seen episodes of Blankety Blank where the grand prize is also a VCR, but yeah there was some right rubbish prizes there as well
