I bought a Teran (Chinese) ripper at a local auction house and it works great for rock. It's really well built especially for what I paid for it.

I usually don't run into rock very often unless I go into the counties directly north and south of my home county. I usually carry a ripper attachment with me just in case. I use it for rock, tree stumps, pulling up asphalt and concrete. It has been a really good investment for me. It's easier to pull a single shank through the dirt than it is to pull a big bucket, plus it has a replaceable tooth on it. It works great. Stay safe brother.

More government bureaucracy. I drove otr for 35 years. Those folks that come up with those nonsensical regulations have never even seen the inside of a dang truck. Let alone driven one down the road. Great job as always Cody. Good luck with the CDL. Call em out on their stupidity.

That process doesn't make sense to me either. In NC, I took a written test for air brakes, combination vehicle, and CDL knowledge to get my learner's permit. After a month or so, my friend with a CDL license rode with me to DMV, and I had to do the practical portion of the test. I had to perform a full pre-trip inspection, obstacle course in the parking lot, and then a road test with the examiner. After I was done, I got my license. Now, I drove a straight drive dump truck with an equipment trailer to do my practical test. That allows me to drive anything that requires a CDL license except for a tractor trailer because I didn't use a TT to do the practical portion. If I go back and do the driving portion with a TT, I can upgrade my license, and that restriction will be removed. Depending on how familiar you are with pre-trip inspections, it would probably benefit you to practice that and the obstacle course, too, for that matter, as much as you can before scheduling your practical portion. It's not hard as long as you practice. I know you are tired of the run around, and I hope it goes well for you. Stay safe my friend.

That is a big ditching and plumbing job Cody. That poly pipe is sure stiff, specially when it's cold. I've never had to stick it together. Just pushed it around,it pretty much goes where it wants to. Got you some good help. Good job,stay safe.

Less trouble than the drivers who have apnea and tons of other problems. Passing out at the wheel. Ask your Dr to verify you are functional to drive an automatic.

Well, at least you didn't hit it where they marked it correctly. That would have been bad. Fiber optic is the only thing that I haven't hit. The worst thing I have cut is a 250 pair telephone line. That was exciting for sure. Luckily, the location company missed it, and I didn't have to pay for it. Keep up the good work my friend.

Hey Cody, you may have already gone this route, but I googled DOT limb waiver, NC has a 15 page document that may be what you need. Limbwaiver.pdf also had what looked like the same form. I hate you are having this problem, but don't stop trying. You'll get there.
