I lost use of my right arm when I severed my bicep and rotator cuff in a fall. I learned if I wrap the welding lead around my arm 3 times, it takes the weight of the lead off of my wrist and I have more control of my welds. Just a thought for you maybe to try. Keep going and keep strong.

Oh wow. Were you right handed to start? That’s a good idea thanks! I know up on a ladder I’ll stand on the lead so I’m not holding all that weight lol. I’ll definitely give it a try! I appreciate it sir! Thank you and you as well!

Brachial Plexus injury? I have a BPI from motorcycle accident in 2005. Doesn’t look like it slows you down! Sub’ed. Cheers!

Yes sir! Well I had 5 nerve root evulsion. Ripped all 5 nerves out of my spine where they can’t repair it really. Mine was on a four wheeler in 2004. I try to not let it slow me down lol some days my pain is pretty bad. I appreciate the sub 👍🏻. We should chat sometime!

You might see an improvement in your welds if you use a grounding clamp instead of a magnet. I saw intermittent arcing coming from under the ground contact point. It's got to be causing irregular current flow.

Thank you for the info! I did notice it doing that but I just thought it might be normal lol. And I just thought it was my crappy welding skills 😂😂😂. Thanks for commenting sir!

How was the sun burn on your right hand? You should find a way to wear gloves at least while welding😊
@Lonestardiggin
@Lonestardiggin 6 ай бұрын
Ha ha it gave me a few new freckles with the burn 😂 I know I should sir. I honestly don’t like gloves but for my skin and less burns I should lol. Just takes more time putting it on and taking off since I have only one working hand but I should protect it more!

YOU HAVE A VERY STEADY HAND WITH THAT CUTTING TORCH, I WOULD NEED A STRAIGHT EDGE.
@Lonestardiggin
@Lonestardiggin 6 ай бұрын
Ha ha thank you! Them cuts were not the cleanest or fastest lol. It just gives more to weld to when it’s not clean 😂😂😂 I’ve thought about doing the straight edge lol
