I mean I'd argue the unpolished-ness is part of the charm of sunshine! Also on Serina episode 8, I agree it's not the easiest of shines, but I'd say it's harder for newer players, or players that don't know where the coins are. Once you've done it a couple times and you realise the coins in the rooms are along the pathway of ep. 3, it gets a bit easier. ALSO ALSO: You can get rid of the cataquacks, but only the ones on the lower beach. Get their attention then run towards the water. When you're approaching the water, start hovering out over the water. DO NOT jump, just start hovering over the water. The cataquack will run into the water and die. Hope this helps someone!

In the red coin chucksters are much easier. Just use the hover nozzle, the only chuckster you need is the vertical one who is by far the most reliable. For the first chucksters tho... git gud i guess

The thing about Ricco Harbor’s Yoshi level, is that Yoshi is only available once you unlock him in Delfino Plaza (I believe it’s if you collect enough shines). But it’s completely possible to reach that level before unlocking Yoshi, and if you do so, Yoshi’s egg just won’t spawn and the game gives no indication of why. So anyone new to the game won’t understand what they’re doing wrong when they can’t find Yoshi

Gnarly rails station isn't that bad. I use this level to grind CQ points in a pinch. I can complete it in 1 try and it takes about 1-2 minutes

Cosmic Cannon Cluster is just a nightmare. One time at the ending I hit the diagonal shot first try, but then accidentally hit the block again, deactivating the track thing 😭

Tempered power sucks but the first on is 6 hits and the second one is 6 hits with the sledge and 1 hit with a sword. From there it’s just a matter of hitting it straight

I love the music and charm of this game. I just beat it on the switch for the first time. I only got 61shines . I thought i was going to have a brain aneurysm trying to beat some of these levels. Im happy i at least played through the game. I might try to 100%. Little by little.

The worst shines to get are the blue coin stars. Hardest part to get a playthrough to 100% complete. People look down on dk64 for being a collectathon but that doesn't hold a candle to backtracking sunshine for every single blue coin

I know this video is three years old, but for the Yoshi Fruit Adventure, the way I beat it was by getting the purple power first. Then, I jumped over to a cliff with a palm tree on the left, ate a coconut from the tree, and used Yoshi's power to make the platforms hover.

Lily pads themselves weren’t that bad. Took me maybe two tries on my most recent playthrough. It’s the process of getting to it that sucks. I don’t think I’ve ever done the proper method. Clipping into the ground is the only way to get it while maintaining my sanity.

Rolling Ride Run is trivial, get a Tanooki suit and wall jump in corners, then float down to get the green stars and stamps if need be.

I feel like if you changed your camera angle in some of those levels and just be more patient (you seem to run around a lot), you would not find them so hard.

Actually bowser in the car only takes 3 hits if you're skilllful enough. There's more than one way to knock the bomb back high enough to hit bowser him. There is the cat suit, but you can also throw a boomerang at the bomb as well as just rolling into it at a good angle

My Opinion Superhero Mode 11:Tundra Man This boss is kinda the easiest on my opinion because he is just like easy mode but just a little faster so he a breeze to kill. 10:Bounce Man I easily beat him but Tundra Man is way more easier but he is kinda easy to deal with if you know how to deal with him on easy then just like Tundra he just faster and stronger. 9:Mawverne Sevond Wily boss but honestly on Superhero Mode he is so easy but also if it was easy mode, Mawverne would be 10 he was so easy but he is kinda fast in Superhero so for the battle I slow time down. 8:Block Man Dispite he is the first robot master to go after I say he is really medium difficulty, and honestly the hardest part was the Rock Golem. But other than that he is really med and would be a breeze to kill. 7:Impact Man I had some struggles with this guy, his dashes also hit me every time but he wasn't really that bad. 6:Acid Man His area is hard with this boss just because one he is with his barrier and if I am using the Mega Buster there is no way I'm getting him I just use the blast bomb to get rid of it and it works out pretty well in my opinion. 5:Blast Man His boss is pretty hard in my opinion, he uses the big bombs to kill a lot during the fight and constantly jumping around the arena and yelling but probably hard in my opinion. 4:Fuse Man Yes, may people probably agree with me on this but his Fuse Scramble attack his really annoying and really time consuming for me and I can barely dodge them. 3:Torch Man This guy has a really cool mechanic but his fight is a tough opponent, besides he is a robot I barely deal with but I just suck it up and deal with him for it. 2:Yellow Devil MK III His body parts are very easy for me since I've practiced with him so many times, but the hardest part of this is the mini devils they jump off the screen telling that it's unpredictable to tell where hes going from. 1:Dr. Wily This guy! Wily is the hardest boss in my opinion because of the rockets there unpredictable to tell where and when they come not to mention your on a treadmill going towards the Wily Machine but other than this it took me 1 year to beat it on Superhero Mode. Thats all my opinions for all bosses hope you liked it and have a great and Amazing day!
