I really like the design of the Hand ships and the image of the Hand Agent. Pity it was let down by things like this.

This is why I prefer the Ancient control chair method in Starfate SG-1/Atlantis. Even if this was in the operator's mind we don't see it. We just need to see the sessions fire, seek and then destroy the targets. This is just... 'facepalm'

I love the classic Cure's sad songs. Nobody can make a hollowbody guitar sound as sad as The Cure. Robert Smith's lyrics evoke all the emotions we know and have felt. Thank you, Cure for all the great music, and I can honestly say without your music over the past 40 years, I probably wouldn't be here anymore. Your music has been a comforting embrace and somebody saying "I understand what you're feeling". Your music has always been a friend to me, and a comfortable place to go when I need some time alone. I know it might sound overly dramatic, but I'm speaking from the heart.

7:42 -- Yes, it's so weird! It's like the entire movie is from another dimension or a nightmare, but that's part of what makes it great. We all love weird movies sometimes, right? Haha! I also adore the slow-paced dialogues and camera shots, reminiscent of 1970s and 1980s films. These kinds of movies let you think and appreciate the scenes and dialogues, much like Kubrick's work. Speaking of Kubrick, this movie clearly draws from many influences, with shots reminiscent of 'The Shining' and elements from the Zodiac Killer's infamous codes. I think Lee suffers not just from a bit of autism, but mostly from agoraphobia which is a fear of being around too many people. I also believe Longlegs is, in fact, a child in his mind, likely due to a traumatic childhood experience. When he says, "I wore my long legs today," I interpret it as him not seeing himself grow up, thinking only his legs grew. That's why he makes weird and childish statements like "the man downstairs." Or maybe he's just completely crazy, haha! Also, I believe he dreamed of being in a hard-rock band. There's an old black and white photo of him (when he read on his bed). The photo was taken when he was younger, in the basement, wearing a black hat. This movie was really something else, and I loved it just like you! It’s great, creative, intriguing, weird, and as a photographer, I adore the colors and the director of photography's work - I just subscribed to your channel because I appreciate that you stay true to yourself and don't overreact, and I really appreciate that as a viewer. I also noticed you love Pink Floyd, apparently. They've been my favorite band since I was a kid, thanks to my dad introducing me to their music. I've been fortunate enough to see them live at least five times.

I couldn't see the screen properly by the end of this one through the tears. Even rewatching the whole series through your reactions - doesn't seem to alter the emotional impact. What is really incredible about this episode is the music, it is one of my favourite pieces of music ever, then to care about the characters and the station - everything has real importance and meaning, far beyond it's supposed ability to be able to create on such a small budget etc. This finale far and away exceeds the DS9 finale and is probably the greatest finale of all series. Great journey it's been. Thankyou.

There were moments in Byrons scenes that made me warm and fuzzy like when he couldn't stop grinning - he was flawed not perfect and the story was really hurried through tbh. Babyon 5 really should have had 26 episodes per season like x files.

This movie blew my mind in 1979. I was in the Navy. A bunch of us went to see it at the base theater after getting to port. The story in the book takes place in the 1950's. The story that book was based upon takes place in 401 BCE. That story was the book Anabasis by Xenophon, who was one of the leaders of a group of Greek mercenaries called the Ten Thousand, hired by Cyrus the Younger to help overthrow his brother, Artaxerxes I, the king of Persia. They were betrayed and defeated and had to escape back through Persia trying to get back to Greece. Anabasis follows their flight and battles back through Persia into Anatolia and then along the Black Sea coast back to Greek lands.

The other version is better. Unfortunately, the comic strips replace live action scenes and some extra dialogue. They also get the history of the Battle of Thermopylae wrong. On the subject of warriors and battles... (If you haven't seen it already) ...You should watch Spartacus: Blood & Sand. ~NOT FOR KIDS! It's utterly brilliant. Do you remember when you used to fantasise about Xena: Warrior Princess? Dreams can come true. 😲😳🥵😏 ~Rest In Peace Andy Whitfield.

Funny thing, I first saw the Warriors when I was young and my father had checked it out and rented it from the video store. We both liked it. Through the years, I recognized it was a classic film. However, it was only after I studied Greek and read Xenophon did I learn the Warriors was, in a way, an adaptation (into the modern world) of the story and from there, I saw even more how great the film was. When I saw the director's cut, I was disappointed with the changes, though I figure if it is what someone sees first, they might like it better than the original.

The scene you're thinking of wasn't about Thermopylae. It was about the retreat of the mercenary Greek Ten Thousand through enemy Persian territory trying to get back to Greece. The movie is based on the book of the same name which was based upon Anabasis by Xenophon. Xenophon was one of leaders of the Ten Thousand. Those events took place in Persia in and after 401BC, about 80 years after the Battle of Thermopylae.
