Don't know if it's the mostly the same people, but I saw The Silver Birds in Jamaica about 11 years ago and was looking for their set (or just songs from it) for ages. Go figure this one randomly pops up in my feed now of all times.

The litany of clicking, sucking and bumping sounds in the RE0 menus absolutely drove me up the wall. Anything as simple as opening the status screen to reload a weapon involved about 7 different obnoxious sound effects one after the other. I cannot fathom what kind of mongoloid thinking led Capcom to force this clownfuckery on its customers

They recommend they are checked at 4000 miles here, then again if you are complaining of ticking or lack of grunt etc. if not just drive it.

Azor offers the Ursus folding center stand as an option on their bikes. I can recommend it. I bought one on Amazon for my Mongoose cargo bike and it made the bike really stable when loading. It unfolds really wide. I'm shopping for a Dutch style roadster, or something similar. My top choices now are the Azor Carolina, Pashley Roadster Sovereign and the Dutchie Dapper 8." At 460 GBP the Dapper is the cheapest, but it's also the cheapest, with plastic chain and wheel guards. And its out of stock. The 8 speed Pashley and 7 speed Azor are both around 1100 GBP, but better quality overall. And they're available now. The Pashley has a two piece chain guard for easy maintenance and the Azor offers an optional front rack mounted to the frame. So much to choose from.

Just bought the Azor Jersey in gloss black and it is beautiful. Twice the quality of Pashley too.
@JustClaude13 Жыл бұрын
@@richard74200 I went with the Azor Crossframe. It's gorgeous and lets me sit upright for a comfortable view of the road. And the only things I needed to add were luggage and a bike computer. Ironically, it's based on the Centaur Featherweight from the beginning of the 20th century. A 1909 Featherweight Featherbed with 2" tires, fenders and a Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub weighed less than 28 pounds. Thanks to improvements in tubing, mine weighs about 60 as delivered. That's 60 pounds for just one bicycle. There's a limit to how strong a frame has to be. I have to pedal this thing up hill.
@richard74200 Жыл бұрын
My Jersey at 67cm frame is real heavy too, but I have the 7 speed nexus which makes things easier. Glad you went for Azor, they are such good bikes. Built to last.@@JustClaude13
@JustClaude13 Жыл бұрын
@@richard74200 I also have the 7 speed, but the low is too high and the high too low. I think the steps should be a little wider between gears. When I retire I'm moving someplace flatter so I don't have to fight the hills. I should have it sorted out the way I like it by then.
@richard74200 Жыл бұрын
Great minds think alike! I also think of going to somewhere flat when I retire, as I want to continue upright cycling for as long as I can.@@JustClaude13

The only way I would let a Honda dealer do this valve check to my pcx 150 and charge $400 or more is I would have to be there and watch them do it because if the scooter is running OK how do you know that they don't just listen to the motor run and just say they checked the valves and you know there's a possibility they could break some of the plastic pieces ?????

And i'm agree :"the little pcx never let me down!!! So cheap, simply, economic gas consumption, easy to maintaining and fixing...respect to Honda manufacturer !

People worry too much about this. It really isn't necessary at all. You don't check the clearances on your car so why do it on a bike? The only time you should investigate is if something sounds amiss. Honda have these ridiculously OTT overkill checks because quite simply it's an easy money-spinner for them (same for other bike dealers). They don't really make any profit on the initial sale, so OTT service intervals are where they make their money. Here in the UK if you pull Honda technicians aside to an area where they are out of earshot of managers and ask them about checking the valve clearances most will openly tell you that they don't bother if the bike sounds fine. They just tick the box to say they've done it and give you the bike back with a large bill for many hours of labour that actually took them all of 20 seconds by starting your bike up and listening to it then switching it back off. You'll probably notice that the clearances are a fraction under the stated measurements (but still within tolerance) at the first 600 mile check. But, if you leave that check and only do it at 2500 miles (or later), you'll probably find that the measurements are bang on. This is likely because Honda know the engine will 'loosen up' in the first few thousand miles and then bed in and be fine, so if you have them adjusted at the 600 mile check, you're likely to find them on the 'too loose' edge of their tolerance on the 2500 mile check, requiring another adjustment, whereas if you just leave them alone they should bed in just fine and not require any attention at all. I get that people are worried about keeping the warranty intact but these engines are bombproof and nothing goes wrong with them if you do the oil changes as per schedule and use a decent fuel. If you really want to be anal over the maintenance and longevity, don't use E15 in them and if you have to run on E10, don't leave it unused for days as the ethanol will slowly rot your fuel lines, pump and start to gum up the engine. If you're leaving it unused for long periods, use E5 or ethanol-free fuel if it's available when you live, or use that all the time. Stop worrying about it, guys. They are not a ticking time bomb like some youtube channels and forums would have you believe. 😄
