It must be hard after your hard work and since you use a portion of the movie not the whole. Perhaps if you added a a bit of inside commentary about the challenges of the color work and why you like the film and what drew you to color it. Giving more of your content to validate fair use

@lsd2587 I'm sure it falls under fair use already, but the appeal process is dumb in that, if I'm wrong, they could either give me a Copyright Strike, or just outright terminate the channel. I'm just gonna play it safe and keep reuploading it until WB leaves me the hell alone... It sucks, but what can you do right, haha.

They were going to film this in color but there was some problem with the camera so they filmed it in black and white

@oldiesfan63 Technicolor was pretty expensive from my understanding... but man, I kinda wish they did. It'd look better than this Technicolor in the 50's used three strips of film I believe, while this video replicates 2 strip.

Fun fact: the first 2 Godzilla films were black and white BY CHOICE. They could’ve done it in color but chose not to because they thought it wouldn’t look as good and scary in color. I’d say it looks just as good here.

One of my all time favorite sci-fi/horror movies ever! I love it in black and white. The scene where the deputy is ambushed at the store, the ant cleaning out the rib cage and the nest on the ship at sea are just some of my favorite scenes in this movie!
