1:16 Why would white defend with Nc3? Bg5 is much better, and then good luck attacking the center.

Hello sir, 1. I have watched your video. The content is very comprehensive, but compared with such rich content, the length of time is still not enough. I suggest you take this video and re-prepare the lesson, split it, expand it, make a mind map, and then make it into a 10 or 12-episode course. Each episode is one hour long. In addition to talking about theory, each episode also comes with some classic examples, and hang it up and put it on KZbin for everyone to watch and learn for free. This is very good for you to attract fans. 2. You are in Australia, where there are many Chinese people, or former Chinese people who immigrated to Australia from China. You can find some people who can play chess among these people, and explain your video or course again in Chinese. In this way, your courses can be seen and learned by Chinese people, and even you may go to Bilibili in China to open an account, publish works, gain fans, and open courses online to recruit Chinese students. Chinese people have strong learning ability, relatively strong economic strength, and a strong interest in chess! 3. Your own image appears in your video. It is recommended to make a package to make yourself more handsome, cool and personalized. Your current dress is too ordinary and simple. There is no memory point, and people can't remember you!

Dam!! In my game as white in a standard tournament I played b3 hoping for Ba3++ but should have played Be3 as you suggested. I still won with a king hunt. Mated her king on d4!

h6 stops Ng5 which is not the fried liver. Fried Liver is when after Nf6 Ng5, d5, exd5 black makes the mistake to take back with the Knight which allows Nxf7. Thats the Fried Liver which is losing for black. Black instead should have played Na5 the Polerio defense. Black gambits a pawn in the 2 Knights defense if White plays Ng5 thats the most solid way to play. I prefer Traxler counter attack. The other way to play is instead of Nf6 the 2 knights defense is Bc5 which allows Evans Gambit.

Great video as always! One thing - in 3:54 black has to play 8...Be7 first because after 0-0 is 9.Bf4! with problems.

Yeah probably best for black to avoid the main line of the Frankenstein-Dracula variation if they aren't confident in it. They could've at least mentioned the line though, instead of giving the "safe" response only.

You could have made this a paid Chessable course, but you made this knowledge, and even a PGN of the repertoire and model games available to us for free. Thank you so much.

Hi Molton. Do you think that Lowenthal Sicilian is more aggressive than Dragon Sicilian or the vice versa. Which one of these two do you recommend for beginners and intermediates? Thanks

Thanks for making this I really appreciate it as part of my current Ruy White project. It would be a cool topic to see updated if you have any opinion changes. Cozio seems a lot more meta now also 3...Bc5. So far I have studied Open, Jaenisch, Steinitz, Petrov and this week is Archangel. One tabia per week planning for a 3 month project.

Hey Molton. Hope all is well. Thanks for this video. Needed a breakdown of the Kf6 line for black. It's SHOT from Lichess. Is it ok to drop the knight back to c7 instead of developing Kc6 in that variation? I hate giving up my knight so early and ruining my pawn structure. Thanks man.

C3 was a wasted tempo; White should have seized the initiative with Ne5! Stockfish agrees.

1:57 if b4 you say black unable to capture Bxf2 as after Ke2 white eventually wins bishop on f2 with Rf1, but my computer analysis always shows black is fine with capturing f2 as the black’s f pawn starts moving and eventually forks white’s bishop and knight if white tries to capture that bishop on f2 with rook?

To be honest I am quite surprise by your characterization of the Alekhine... Because it leads to so many unbalanced position (as a low/medium rated player - about 1800 FIDE) I would describe describe it neither as easy nor solid... Black must often go for active play and prove compensation to equalize.

Your first variation is not complete and not bad for black: 5…Nf6 6.e5 Ng4 7.e6 fxe6 8.Ng5 Nge5 9.Nxe6 Qa5 10.Bb3 Bxe6 11.Bxe6 Qa6 and black seems ok or a bit better 12.Nd5 Nd3 13.Kd2 Kd8 unclear

In the line with 7) Qg4, is 7)...Bf6 playable instead of g6? I see it as the 2nd most played move in my database and the results seem to be similar. I always seem to have problems developing my king knight and castling when I play g6.
