Super helpful video. Coming up with plans in the middlegame is definitely the weakest part of my game, and studying pawn structures definitely helps. Idk if you plan on doing more videos on this since the last one is a couple months old, but I‘d love a study on hedgehog/dragon sicilian kinda pawn structures

Nice video. Can you tell me why Pirc is considered lesser opening even though both kid and pirc have same pawn structure?

I think it's because White saves a move on c4 for say Be3 instead. Which can lead to more dangerous kingside attacks with Qd2 etc. Also since he hasn't committed Nf3 either there are extra options

It’s also much easier to castle long in the pirc because of the lack of c4, which as Moulthon says leads to quick attacks against the black king

I’m 1500 and in my games I see black attacking on the queen side and not the king side it’s really strange and I’m normally the one playing f4 attacking
