i just watched another video on one of these , guy had owned it less than a year & there was more damage on it than ive seen on 50 year old boats ... cheapest for a very good reason.

This is a piece of junk. The Wynns have had nothing but trouble with their 6-month-old HH44. The problems are so bad The Wynns have been forced off their boat into a Philippine apartment, awaiting HH to honor the 5-year "warranty" that HH is attempting to skirt around. It is to be expected from a manufacturer that does not understand electrical dynamics inside an electrically conducting carbon fiber hull, and from a Chinese HH factory that has a nasty history of not paying its laborers. If you are looking for a small, fast, carbon fiber hull, look elsewhere.

Just saw a video of this make of boat after one year in service. Absolutely terrible build quality. All kinds of serious problems and that was what you could easily see. Imagine what you couldn't.

That sliding door on the right aft cabin doesn't fill me with confidence, there's a full inch gap. May as well not have one.

Cabins extremely cramped for such a large boat. Maybe the hulls are narrower for performance I know it's a great boat.

Imo a gunboat catamaran with a flybridge isn’t a nice catamaran, it’s just a big whale.

fwiw, I'm waiting for an elegant affordable electric cat, much like this one, but one that that gets me to beautiful destinations without the cost/complexity/lethargy of sail power. imagine how much more utility this yacht could offer if all the time and money dedicated to an antiquated, underused propulsion system, were instead dedicated to features that add to comfort, convenience and safety and getting where you want to go.

The other 44's have huge forward lounge areas which are incredibly useful. Seems like there's no comparison here, no?

I chartered one of these this summer in Greece. It is a lovely boat, we all loved the layout. It actually sailed really well with a much lower centre of gravity. At first I was sceptical of the view from the helm position but it turned out to be much better looking through the boat than the visibility on a monohull. The only thing that let it down was the tankage system. The wc waste tanks are 4.5 metres from the actual wc, resulting in the waste tank filling extremely quickly due to pipe length. The vents are also situated above the opening ports in the fwd cabins which is not pleasant if the vent is operational. The pumpout points are also on the same fwd cill level as the fresh water tank fillers and again any seapage can contaminate the fillers. All the tanks had been randomly added to the digital tank gauges meaning waste tank 2 was on the port side where as water tank 2 was on the stbd side yet the filler was on the port side and all were unmarked. The tankage is my onky criticism of an otherwise very comfotable well thought out boat.

this thing is superb. Probably fits in a conventional mono hull slip too. The only thing i dislike is the Hobby Horse motion you see in 44ft and below in certain conditions. But this layout is great. Nice video. Probaby could beach on a sand atoll too.

I am not convinced of the build quality of these cats, ever since Colin of Parley exposed the faults in the Lagoon 450 one has to wonder. I think they crank them out too fast. Colin also repaired a hurricane damaged Fontaine Pajot and when he too the keels off there was hardly any glue holding them on. Very suspect I thought.

Whats really great about this cat is the incredible abundance of natural light from the numerous hatches vents and portlights while still preserving privacy.

Knowing nothing about advanced sailing, I wonder if drum wind generators on the deck plugged into hybrid engines would provide more efficient and less problematic long-range cruising? Just supposition, but worthy of some calculations.

That saloon looks like a Bob’s Furniture Warehouse. I’d rather have the galley up.

Da buon Italiano trovo inconcepibile la mancanza del bidet in una imbarcazione di questo genere, e trovo inconcepibile che in quasi nessuna altra parte del mondo se ne faccia uso, basta un po di buonsenso per capirne la sua utilità, l'igiene intima per noi Italiani è una priorità assoluta, i vantaggi sono innumerevoli, usiamo molta meno carta igienica, ci laviamo con detergenti intimi con PH idoneo, e non ultimo non ci grattiamo il culo in continuazione come vedo nel resto del mondo. scusate lo sfogo, questa è la mia opinione e quella di molti altri miei connazionali. Per il resto il catamarano è degno di nota, ma lo ordinerei solo se ci fosse in dotazione quel mostruoso strumento che ho menzionato.
