LOL I'm gonna drop a secret tech on you though - there IS a way to stun Bulblax without sacrificing a Pikmin. With proper timing and alignment, (and a bit of luck, cuz Pikmin AI is... Temperamental on a good day) Yellow Pikmin will wait for Bulblax to wind up his tongue attack, then chuck the bomb rock at him - the explosion makes his tongue slap him in the face and actually stuns him for a LOT longer than the sacrifice method.

Fun fact, you can directly select Zero Suit Samus in the Subspace emissary (post power suit) without having to do the whole taunt thing. Not during any section where you select a character via "cutscene freeze frame", there you *have* to use the taunt trick afterwards. But in sections where you have an actual character select screen, you just hover over Samus' icon and do a specific input (- button with Wii remote, c button with nunchuck or c stick with GameCube/Classic Controller) and voilà. Instant ZSS. Same goes for Zelda/Sheik and Pokemon Trainer. Only downside with this method for Samus is that you don't get her Armor pieces to use as items. Honestly, it's crazy to see just how many tricks there were for selecting ZSS in Brawl that the game didn't tell you about. I knew about most of them as a kid since I looked them up, but I still to this day see people who didn't know you could select her through means other than a smash ball. They don't even know that on the regular character select screen for free for all and such, you could select her by holding the shield button before starting the game. A shame too because Brawl ZSS is sick as hell, as any competitive montage video of her will show you.
