Edinburgh ground crews seem so stretched. Anything out of the norm, like deicing a plane or even a disabled passenger, causes loads of delays. It's pathetic

It's Shariqa but the people of the UAE, the Emaraties have a different Arabic accent and so pronounce Shariqa as Sharjah. Which means the Eastern rise.

Great review! I had a look at the FlightRadar history of this plane and it appears they're only doing this exact route over and over again. Edinburgh (EDI) -> Dubai (DXB) are the only airports that see this plane. I'm eagerly awaiting for Emirates to either extend the network for this plane or take delivery of more A350s. I wish you had spent a bit more time with the ICE because it looks brand new. Like I wanted to know if it can connect to our own private speakers via bluetooth (since you complained about their overhead speakers that they supply). A quick glance of the shows, movies, etc would have been nice too. Since that screen is what we stare at for the majority of the flight.

You can get just about anywhere on the Pegasus network for similar prices, the furthest destination is Karachi.

Aside from Pegasus, AJet has similarly priced flights to Abu Dhabi and Sharjah via Sabiha Gökcen, and Wizz Air direct flights from Abu Dhabi and Dubai from various airports in Europe, including Stansted for AJet.

A Disastrous Experience with EasyJet We had a connecting flight departing from Rome to KEF, Iceland, on January 28. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed by 2 hours and 54 minutes, barely avoiding the 3-hour delay threshold for compensation under EU policies. Due to this delay, we missed our connection in Gatwick and were forced to book two nights in London, incurring significant expenses. The consequences of EasyJet’s delay were catastrophic: • Lost two precious holiday days. • Paid for two unplanned hotel nights in London. • Lost money on our prepaid car rental in Iceland. • Missed out on our prepaid accommodations in Iceland. In total, we lost over €800. Despite explaining our situation, EasyJet refused any form of refund, claiming the delay was due to weather conditions. This response was both disappointing and unacceptable. EasyJet’s handling of this situation was appalling, and their lack of accountability has ensured that we will never choose their airline again. Travelers, be warned-saving a little money upfront with EasyJet could end up costing you far more in the end.

How much to get back to Edinburgh is what I’d like to know. One way trips that are cheap are all well and good but it would be good if these videos included returns.
@WorldWide_Dom2 күн бұрын
Usually my videos do include returns, however this video was done to allow me to take the inaugural emirates 🇦🇪 A350 from Dubai to Edinburgh. On first glance, for Pegasus you’d be looking around £200 return however there are cheaper itineraries with Wizz Air that take the price down to £150-160.
@craigy18722 күн бұрын
@ Fair play. This is the first time I’ve watched your any of your videos so I’ll check out some others. Like I said, videos that show return costs would be more helpful to your regular traveler who need to know when, where and the costs of getting home.

Good video although personally I would rather not see more videos about Dubai. Unfortunately it is a money laundering center for drug money from the UK. There’ a very good Sunday Times/Times podcast series on the subject Cocaine Inc. and the most relevant episode on Dubai is called Sunshine and Lollipops. Given Scotland’s issues with drugs not a place to promote in any way.
