Dom, all the celebrations were done at EDI for the return leg to DXB. The reason for that is the media and some other KZbinrs (including Noel Philips and Nonstop Dan) were invited to EDI for the return leg. Dennis Bunnik was also invited to do a Behind the Scenes with BOSA, the maintenance contractors, so he did that instead of flying.

I flew it from DXB-EDI the next day , hopefully no more trekking through to Glasgow to get the A380 although I suspect I will still have to as I am sure it will be a popular Flight and Fares will be cheaper on the A380.

Thanks Dom for this enjoyable video. I would hope that EK would bring its A350 into STN at some time in the future. STN is the poor relation of LHR and LGW as regards EK service. I had thought EK would bring its A380 to STN (this was London's first airport to get A380 certification) but so far it hasn't happened.

Brilliant video! Was a shame they didn't do much to celebrate the departure from Dubai though. Looked like a pretty good flight, and those economy seats look pretty decent

Nice video, Dom :) While there's elements of this aircraft/cabin experience that look good, the overload on wood panel looks quite tacky and questionable longevity on the tray tables.
