I do! But don’t recommend it. It’s over priced and I recommend jumping into my live q&a’s every month for free to get your questions answered. The coaching is limited to 2 per month due to time constraints but if you seriously need me it’s available in the link below the video.

$47, $67, why don't you just simplify and price per property not man hour? seems like the home owner may get annoyed with the odd sum payments and it would simplify it for both parties.

Might’ve missed it but what is a good number to make this a full time job. I understand estimated pricing and I feel like 40 customers would be a comfortable number for me. I’m going to be operating with my SUV and just haul around a push mower, string line and a blower in my trunk.
@TheWillKelly6 күн бұрын
You need to make roughly 3 times what your current salary is
@chunkychase72326 күн бұрын
If I’m considered leaving my company landscaping job and making my own business, what would a comfortable number of clients be to quit my job and run it full time. Side note, I do not have a truck. I have an SUV so I’ll be starting out with putting a push mower, blower and weed liner in my trunk with the seats down. Again, what’s a safe number to run that type of business full time comfortably
@TheWillKelly6 күн бұрын
There’s a lot of variables that play into this but ultimately you would need to make enough to replace your income. You have to be careful though because you also have expenses now. So you actually need to make double if not triple what you currently make now each week to sustain that take home pay.

What would you recommend doing when jobs related to your core jobs are scarce? For instance, I primarily mow, but I've only picked up 6 new lawns this season. On the other hand, I've had some lucrative weeding and junk removal jobs, but those introduce obstacles like beating up your body more and dump fees.
@TheWillKelly7 күн бұрын
You can always swap out slower time with other jobs such as those. I’d recommend charging a higher price to do those since those are more physically demanding than mowing is.

@@TheWillKelly The guys around here (central Florida) are doing this year round billing stuff. But you’re basically giving a discount through the summer then hoping they don’t cancel at the end of the year. Like I get the year round income aspect, but I would rather just get the money up front and budget for the winter.

I started my lawn and landscape business because I wanted to control my destiny. Got tired of the time constraints for promotion in the Air Force. I was out mowing this morning but man I have been wondering why you use push mowers in your business vs stand ons. Is it so you can get new guys up to speed faster or are your yards that small? All of mine are 8-12k and the 30” push mowers aren’t much slower but man they are exhausting after 10-14 yards.
