for high frequency, the depletion width is increasing, so why is the capacitance just Cdep, max? why is not like in depletion mode where its dependent on the depletion width length, which in the case of high frequency, is bigger than xd max.

In the metal side you told first : since electric field is zero, potential is also zero. but later you told since bulk substrate is grounded so potential at substrate is zero. then the potential at metal should be negative. This is contradictory! I am getting confused. please help.
