This is the most frustrating thing with GW, I get it you pay the licensing for the rights etc that’s fine I understand you taking alternatives down but make some new improved fucking High elf models so I can chuck all my money at you! 😂 I just cannot stand the OG plastics or the old metal/fincast sculpts. I have 2 FW Glorfindels, new Elrond kit, Erestor & Cirdan and 12 Riv knights waiting to be painted when they finally do updated sculpts just hope it’s bloody soon, I like to do an army in one go so I’ve been holding out on that project for ages 🙄

Good stuff man. The paint pot shaker line got me. I put little army painter ball bearings in all my citadel pots. That thing looks a lot more fun though and saves you knackering your wrist. (From shaking the pots I mean.)

yeah - i’m shit at it but i have fun!! with the rules and army list s online for free (minus the helpful text boxes) you should be able to get games on the table at no on cost to yourself to at least try it. most armies that you’d expect are available with more choice to give the flexibility (so with elves you can make high elves, wood elves, LotR elves etc etc) noone care if you have official mantic minis so go have fun!

So for the elves you want to buy that are more GW/LOTR accurate, they are the original Devale miniature designs that are now the Blood Elves that you have already. GW sent their seize to devale to prevent them from keeping the design. So unfortunately, you simply can't get them. I helped Devale designers with the new helmet design.

Gotta get those WW2 minis done. Also, if only you knew someone who lived in the Highlands...

Too many sweaty old world players... where has the actual nuance in movement, big blocks of infantry gone and less monster hammer! Also cool painting of the elves, shame that anytime I see gold armour.... I see rings of power lindon elves🤮

got damn boy, those rohan riders in the beginning where mint man. Where did you get them models? I have 30+ of them original ones and the multiplications are driving me mad. Aint easy getting a good looking pure horse rohan army when ytou only have 2 different horse sculpts to work with. Bloody hell!

That is some effort for a weekend - inspired me to hopefully finish my elf project this week!
