Putting well-earned money into the stock market can’t be over emphasized for first - time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Well, basically times are uncertain, the market is out of control, and banks are gradually failing. I am working on a ballpark estimate of $5M for retirement, and I have a good 6-figure loaded up for this, could there be any opportunity for a boomer like me? I'm nearly 60.

Sincerely it's best to seek an advisor right now, unless you're canny yourself. As a business owner in both the service industry and eBay reseller of all product categories, I can tell you we’re in a deep recession and everyone is running out of money

Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $21k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

Started my portfolio last year with SCHD, VOO, and VUG after watching one of your videos. In terms of share price, VOO is way up (22.25%) and VUG is waaaaay up (39.62%). Thanks for the education!

Isn't VOO and VUG similar in the sense both are investing in the S&P 500? What is the difference? I thought it is generally advised against to invest in multiple ETFs or Mutual Funds?
@rogerwheelers4322
@rogerwheelers4322 2 ай бұрын
There is 55% overlap with the holdings in VOO and VUG. 1 is tech heavy and the other is financials heavy similar, but not the same. VOO tracks the S&P 500; VUG is just focused on large cap growth stocks. VUG is a bit more volatile, but with a higher upside potential. VOO is a bit safer. I’ve never heard anyone advise against multiple ETFs/mutual funds. You just have to be aware of overlap. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

I'm sitting on some significant money ready to toss it into VOO, but I'm kinda hoping that price drops a bit. I know we only want to see the stock rise, but being heavily liquid, I'd rather not reinvent the wheel, thus the search for a reputable advisor, mind sharing info of this person guiding you please?

People have to realize there is not a single silver bullet. It is many pieces that all come together. Options will make you an extra couple hundred here and there for the average non millionaire, but $ is $ and it can add up, but options aren't going to get you a Ferrari.

Exploring the high-stakes world of day trading reveals a blend of risk and reward, where strategic leverage plays and timing during market fluctuations can lead to significant gains from minimal investments. This approach emphasizes the necessity of careful risk management, including setting stop losses and technical analysis, to navigate the volatile markets effectively.....managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Veronica Hoy, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

As Cramer likes to say, Henry---you only need to get rich once. The problem with success is it begets desire for even more success. The key I think to sustaining your trading gains is to allocate a good chunck to conservative holdings and let the house money ride.

I agree with you, uncle Henry. I find for short term options, put call ratio analysis and studying order flows is giving me great success. Sometimes I don’t even know what happens in the company… Not the smartest approach maybe 🤷🏻‍♂️ It’s how people feel about the stock that matters though. Keep up the great work man, thanks for the awesome videos. 👍🏻

Don't try to get rich, know when it comes to the average person, 80% of people lose money in the stock market. Your best bet is to invest in the S&P 500 each paycheck and just let it grow over time. You will be richer than the vast majority of people. Many people are talking about a crash this fall, the market HATES uncertainty, who will win the election? Who knows, so the market will go down this October into November, will it crash? Probably not, but it should be a nice entry point if you want to save money between now and October and then wait for a dip.

Havent wstched the video yet but this is wtf i need, cycles of certain sectors ie. Interest rates high or low, war, ect Why stocks fill gaps from like 4 years ago, why a stock like paypal whos doing bills in buybacks but cos wall street dont like... it goes down theyre making billons a year in earnings but yet 68b market cap. I always thought money makes money it can invest so earnings should auto raise earnings for year after wether its buy backs or buying companies and competition you got pltr with a higher market cap than paypal yet paypal makes like idk 14x as much i know ai ai ai but like wtf. Also from that... what makes a market completely crash or "correct" if nobody sells like lets say pltr does drop to 9$ at fair value what makes it drop like that

That is very true and I lost about $9000 on that call credit spread play. But it has been a net gain on his other plays and training so the rule is diversify and manage risk and I don’t even touch credit spreads anymore. It’s all cash secured puts or poor man’s covered calls, or the wheel strategy being diversified across 10 to 20 stocks and plays. Also learned to pay more attention to fundamental analysis (I.e. nvda) than Henry does sometimes.
@zoraster3749

I did one call credit spread on NVDA and it worked out for me but I never did another trade on it. Way too volatile for spreads. I don’t mind bag holding in a wheel strategy but NVDA is too big for that.
