Do you do a lesson or tab for that piece you played ?

It’s just F major to Fm No Fsus2 in it anywhere. It’s pretty basic , bar the solo. Still a great song

I really prefer the look of the 114e. On facebook looking to pick up one these today. Had a Taylor in the past, but foolishly sold it.

What is the main difference between a guitar and guitalle apart from being small? Will the scale match with regular sized guitar right out of the box?
@GregMichael27 күн бұрын
The tuning is like in ukulele. To sound like a guitar you need classical guitar strings

How is it possible that after 5+ years you're still the only qualitative video making this comparison

Seems like u r having different back/side tonewood on both guitar. Its sapele vs walnut by the look of it...🤔.

Didin't like the Maton at all here. The mids sounded so boxy compared to the Taylor.

Is the action high, i believe that this is the most important information for a 5 year old
@GregMichael3 ай бұрын
The action is not high. It’s a perfect for a 5 year old. Even a 4 year old if they are ready to learn. I now recommend 1/2 classical guitars but not Yamaha as they are too big. There are other makers that make smaller 1/2 guitars. I would go with that instead of a guitalele.

The kid is 5 but really tighny, what would be a nice, low action, low budged 1/2 guitar, can you ply recommend me. Thank you so much for your response

@@nb1598 There's a brand called Rodrigo sold by London Guitar Studio. But it's London, UK Not sure where you are. They are great quality. My second pick is a Yamaha. I think they might have two sizes of 1/2 better check

So there’s no real difference with strumming a silent guitar and an unplugged electric. :(

Great review! Hugely helpful in making the decision.....to go for the 114e.....I think🤔

Is the fill making it go from 8 bars to 9 bars? Repeating the walk down/turnaround in first position after the fill adds an extra bar, doesn't it? Trying to get this tune down, but when I play it and hear you do it I keep counting an extra bar. Thanks for your lessons!

Thank you. I own a few guitars but want a traveling guitar. $40 in 2023 U.S. dollars is what I hope to pay for this used guitar Thanks for making this Yamaha sing.

It really depends if you play above the 12th fret. I utilize the whole fretboard so for that I need the cutaway. If I didn’t I would take the non cutaway sound-wise.

I bought one of these and love playing it when it's in tune which sadly isn't very often...I think with my playing style it stays in tune for less than five minutes...Sadly it will have to go...

i was wondering whether the guitarlele has a truss rod so that I can safely change strings and tune it as a guitar without placing too much tension on the neck...

First, thanks for the clear comparison video. If anything, I prefer the Maiton because of its softer sound, but it is 3 times the price of the Taylor, right? If so, I would choose Taylor.

Hi Greg, I was thinking the same thing and looked for a video to see if someone had done it. I feel like my 2001 Gibson Les Paul has a lot of tension on the plain strings, not the wound ones, so I use hybrid strings. Did you get good results? Is it worth it to make bendings? Thank you! Greetings from Argentina
