Great video and congrats on one year down,.. many many more to go. As far as the miles, I want to say it was a little over 50 miles, maybe 50.2. But I do remember the following day your legs were giving you issues,... time to go rewatch it and find out if I'm correct.

Funny people are saying any mechanical will breakvdown after hard use because youre wearing a gsar. I have a gsar as well. Its from 2006....maybe off a couple minutes a day. Never been serviced. Its an absolute tank. Been through Afghanistan...its case and bezel are all chewed up. Yet works well for my needs. Shluld probably service it soon but i love how it just pushes on without issue. Only issue i have is the adhesive that applies the tritium tubes is most likely decayed as i have slapped it pretty hard once then dropped it from chest height and knocked the tubes off the face. Had to have them reapplied.

@@NeemorsWorld no But we did 20 miles backpacking in Yosemite! so nice! / afterwards we went out into the desert and return via sonora pass/ sun was going down and it was still warm really nice in august, some pct hikers were getting back on trail

our gradfathers used to wear wool and cotton and they were absolutely fine, now we become extremely technical. It seems if you don't spend 3000 euros to buy technical clothes you can't even go for a walk in a park. I wear light cotton t-shirst in many hikes on the alps and is absolutely fine. If you can't walk few hours in a cotton t-shirt without end up dead...maybe you should consider not to leave your house

How do you rate that Coleman stove in the wind, strong enough? I have a Gas One that needed a fuel increase mod to handle winds.

It’s not amazing in the wind on its own, but the plastic case it came it works really well to block out wind. I’ve always been able to shield it enough to cook. I’ve had it about 6 years.
