Wrong,wrong,wrong. There is your opinion and there is the truth.I totally disagree with you on this video. Like,seriously,what’s next,”breathing takes time”?? And the truth is yeah,dude,everything has consequences,everything has potential drawbacks,but comparing music to feeding a cat or reading a book is idiotic because those are different things. And,boy,I guaran-damned-tee you that reading a good book that you love gives you at least a very little bit of dopamine.

It's good to take a break, but since I've taken a long break from music, I ultimately see the value of it. First of all, dancing is healthy, even if it's just by yourself. Second, it's good therapy, makes you feel connected to society, and helps you define yourself among them. Makes you feel not alone, and your struggle/humanity's struggle beautiful or worthwhile in some way. It helped me shape my personality and how I dress and stuff. It's great escapism, sparks the imagination, and is absolutely necessary sometimes for a self-esteem boost.

Listening to music is similar to watching yt , if done mindlessly will lead to ruins certainly , its better to not watch , when i listen to music I try to listen to lyrics , find the meaning , analyse it , listen it twice thrice , explore various genres , and always try to find the music from real world and from my memory before jumping on new ones , and when I jump I appreciate it and must appreciate it . Completely avoiding music is not a man can do nor it should do , music can be a therapy but then again people misuse music itself . Period.
