I have seen many comments about music being forbidden in Islam. I have read Quran and many hadiths, and nothing is said about listening to or playing music. In my opinion, despite being non-religious, this kind of thought is damaging Islam. People are making up their own rules and defending them…

Dewd!! That's so so nice coming from you. Really happy to hear you found this inspiring, and that you find the no-music aspect of it refreshing. It's something i want to build more and more on. It takes a bit more time i would say on the script side of things, since that has to drive the video a lot more than the music, but i think it's a format of filmmaking that's very pure and close to a documentary. Can't wait to see your vid :)

Musicians who play on a certain instrument , or sing have nothing to do with it . Unless they are one of those who produce 90 % of modern music and fulling it with negativety that are doing nothing but causing harmful effects on their listeners (us)

الحمدلله كملت سنتين ماسمعت أغاني بعد ماجاني الاكتئاب ونوبات الهلع و وسواس الموت حتى سماعات الهيدفون شلتها بعيد عني والحمدلله ماعاد عندي اي رغبه ارجع اسمع وهذا من أفضل و أجمل القرارات الحياتيه اللي اتخذتها بحياتي لاني عشت سنين طويلة اسمع اغاني بشكل يومي و مفرط و اكيد ان هالشيء كان يضرني لكن مابان الضرر الا بعد سنين من الاستماع اليومي والله العظيم ما استفدت شيء غير الهم و الضيق كنت اظن اني مبسوطه و انا اسمع الاغاني لكن اكيد ان هالشيء كان يترك اثر سلبي بداخلي ماحسيت فيه الا بعد سنين بالضبط كأنها طاقه سلبيه متراكمه … انا متزوجه و أم و أقدر أقول ان اتخاذي للقرار هذا بعدم الاستماع للاغاني كان له النفع الكبير على صحتي النفسيه وصحة عقلي وعلاقتي بالله سبحانه ثم بزوجي و اطفالي ابدًا ماهو شيء بسيط ، انبسط لما اشوف ناس اتخذو هالقرار لاني عارفه التفع اللي بيلقونه 🩵

New subscriber here! Was searching for "why i stopped listening to music" videos and end up on your page. Watched few of your recent videos and I am hooked. I am on a social media and screen detox atm. And I am also realizing how listening to music 99% of my time and having earpods in my ear makes me disconnected from reality as well. I realized I fear my thoughts when I don't have any constant distractions. And when I finally put my earpods down, I realized there were thoughts that I was supposed to address but I drove them away so I am left feeling blue and uneasy. I feel pleasant watching your recent videos cause there's no background music. I enjoyed listening to the sounds of birds chirping, or picking up the woods, or sound of traffic from the horizon from your b-rolls. Feels more surreal.

Hey you! So so happy you subscribed and it makes my day that you like my videos and thoughts. It's exactly this that i wanted to address in the other video video, that sometimes we have thoughts that we escape or don't even know exist, because we're always filling our heads and minds with entertainment and information. And with this one, and future videos, it makes me happy that you find them calming. I want them to be like audiobooks but with visuals. Just like you, i've also been overwhelmed with media, so I'm really happy to be creating a place on the internet, where something is still informational and educational, but not overwhelming.
