Hi Nik, I have a question. I sell personalized jewelry gifts on my Shopify store that come with a meaningful message card for all occasions only in USA. In this case should I create 1 shopping campaign have multiple ad groups wherein each Ad group is a product category like Ad group 1=Birthday gifts, Ad group 2= Anniversary gifts, Ad Group 3=Graduation Gifts and so on? OR Should I have 3 Seperate shopping campaigns i.e 1 for each product category like 1 for Birthday gifts, 1 for anniversary gifts and 1 for graduation gifts?
@NikArmenis25 күн бұрын
What is your advertising budget? I don't think it's necessary for that much segmentation. Personally I'd start off with all products one ad group. If you are going to segment do it at the adgroup level though. No need for multiple campaigns

if I wish to start my digital marketing journey with google ads what should be the first step? I am learning google ads from google skill shop. what is the one advice you would like to give a beginner?
@NikArmenis27 күн бұрын
I think the first step is what you’re doing. Getting good enough at something that you can actually get clients results. If you can’t get them results then you won’t be able to keep clients which is the most important thing. That said skill shop really gives a surface and not practical understanding of google ads. I will do a video on this topic if you like

Great video. I’m in a similar boat but in the Irish market. I’m considering introducing revenue share pricing for clients but not share where to start with percentage rates. Any suggestions Nik?
@NikArmenisАй бұрын
I really like revenue multiplied by the ROAS. The reason for this is it incentivises you to grow both. I tier it so as the value goes up my % goes down. I think 5% is a good starting point but it really depends on the size of the business. Make sure you have a minimum fee though to protect volatility

Thanks for the video. The app which I think now is called Fueled Attribution Suite is fairly pricey for a small store. What is the next best (free 🫣) option to get all the events tracking in G4? The out of the box implementation with the Google & KZbin Shopify App is very poor with pretty much nothing buy URL views working so I need a solution to get all the events set up and tracking. Any suggestions?

I have been using maximum conversion value and I get sales too. But they are really incosistent. I get 4-5 sales some day and 0 sales for next 2-3 days. Hello Nik! If I already have a winner product being selling on Meta Ads, what type of campaign do you recommend start in Google Ads? I mean, shopping for only a product or straight to Pmax? My Ads account doesn't have data... Thank you 🙏
@NikArmenis2 ай бұрын
I would implement the beginner testing strategy I have in the channel. If you have the Google tag or Google analytics installed you can build out audiences based on meta data. If you get a lot of sales you could choose either pmax or standard shopping. Pmax just needs a little bit of data and it will get running

Hi mate, you will need a Google my business listing and add it to your Google ad account. There isn’t a maps only option though. It’s just an extension on a campaign. Best bet would be a search campaign or potentially a pmax campaign if you’re going to add in conversion tracking

@NikArmenis4 ай бұрын
It depends what it is the b2b customer is buying. The process on shopify b2b now makes it almost akin to b2c. Generally speaking though yes b2b will take longer. But there’s plenty of stuff businesses buy that is almost impulse level or shorter decision time frames. It’s also really easy for most ecom businesses to implement these days

Great video, Nik. I have a question about low impressions. I’m running a shopping campaign with 6 metal wall art products for housewarming gifts. Despite using 'maximize clicks' and raising my budget to $160/day, I’ve only received 3 impressions in the last 7 days. My shopping feed is optimized, I’ve edited the product titles in GMC, and there are no errors. Any idea why this is happening? I’d appreciate your advice. Thanks!

Hi Nik.. I have an e-commerce store. Some videos I watched mention that I should not run PMAX campaigns unless I have had 30 conversions in the last 30 days via other google campaigns like shopping campaigns and search campaigns because google doesn’t have any data to optimize on if I run PMAX campaigns without conversion..I am seriously considering running PMAX campaigns because I haven’t had any sales after spending $500 on shopping campaigns, my conversions tracking is setup correctly.. I sell jewelry gifts that come with a meaningful message card and metal wall art as housewarming gifts..I would appreciate your response, thanks!
@NikArmenis4 ай бұрын
The reason people recommend that is technically yes pmax campaigns need data to find your customer and what search terms, devices, locations etc work for your products. It needs conversions to get that data. I start quite frequently from scratch and it often works just fine. Sometimes standard shopping outperforms. I would say that for something like Jewellery I actually find standard shopping often works better but that’s just my experience. The reason for that is it’s often very competitive. I’d say as a starting point lower your bids. You could give pmax a try. Lower your daily budget as well and improve your titles.
