This is happening to me. Drone isn’t stable with altitude above 20ft. Crashed straight into the ground when I enabled RTH

Mine are dead. Can the battery inside be replaced separately?
@scottr3141 Жыл бұрын
I used 3 18650's 3500mah , soldered them in place of the original cells . had to velcro them to the battery case also. Then I unsealed the chip , reset it. After about 2 flights , the old batteries computer married pretty good with the percentage amount on the screen while flying. First flight , it said I had about 26% left, but the drone did a critical low voltage landing. Second flight it went all the way down to 15% which is the go home setting I have set. The battery's chip learned the new battery's capacity .

Thanks great video!! I had a Spark battery that wouldn’t charge. After opening i used a cheap lipo charger on the exposed contacts to charge batteries one by one to ~3 v then tried it back on the DJI charger and it worked i was able to charge it!! Voltage was, 2.2, 1.9, and 2.2 when i opened it. Dji charger had refused to charge it prior to this. (Not a very smart charger/battery i guess). Thanks!
@NMCatfishing Жыл бұрын
How did you charge them once you took it out case?
@sut2910 Жыл бұрын
@@NMCatfishing I used a piece of foam with 2 nails thru it spaced the width of end contacts. Stood battery on end with nails touching a single cell’s contacts then jumpered the nails to a single cell lipo charger ( in my case a Traxxas Alias charger). I did not disassemble pack from end circuit card. I charged each cell separately to above 3v. When i put it back on the DJI charger it lit up like normal and charged. Center battery is opposite the polarity of two outer batteries. I used a multimeter when I opened it, cells were approximately 2 volts or a little less.

my battery is in hibernation mode, and i cant charge it. how i can put small charge direct to batteries and then try to charge with oiriginal dji cables...
@ZenMountain2 жыл бұрын
What's the name of those tools you are using? Thanks?
All the person really has to do is take care of their batteries the way that they're supposed to and the usual amount of charges and discharges that this drone can get is above 150 and up to 300 times if you just take care of the battery never store it fully charged even though it does discharge in 10 days never store it fully charged and only run it below 10% about every 20 to 30 flights to recalibrate the battery... After that anything else you do with it if the battery becomes bloated it's basically a flying bomb. 💯

One of the great benefits of lithium batteries is they have extremely low leakage current and therefore are ready to use. I would just let the circuitry do its thing, as needed.

What a useful comment, thank you. Now we know what we have to do. Amazing.

thanks for this tutorial. If someone is looking for a solution about inflated batteries, follow this tutorial and then pell out the black material under the battery, it can help to "desinflate" it, don't try to make a hole in the battery, it's very very dangerous.

I have 3 spark batteries. First flight of the day with any one battery works just fine for complete 12 minutes. As i change the battery my spark starts hopping. I think it should be heating problem but its just guess. can anyone here tell me having the same issue?

You may have written down the battery serial numbers. Inside their number ? You can order Mavic pro by serial numbers from aliexperss. I don't know if they are to AIR.

Thanks! Just what I was looking for! Just one extra point I would make. When reassembling, it is best to pop the outer button out and pop it back in at the very end. Otherwise, the outer button can cause the inner button to get jammed.

So the booster antennas only allowed 3000 Meters? I can fly my Mavic Air 3500 Meters without any boosters. So my question is WHY BOTHER???
@joeregular17234 жыл бұрын
Exactly. I routinely get 3500 meters stock everything. Battery is my limiting factor.

hello, could parat anafi engines and propellers be installed on mavic air
@RedpillPortugal4 жыл бұрын
Instead of increasing the weight of the battery, you should try to strip the drone so it will get lighter... Probably that way it would fly for a longer time. If you do this reply to this comment so I can check

This REALLY helps. My spark overheated on a 85°F 29°C day. Average outdoor temperature in Texas. I drilled a big (1cm) hole in top cover above the cooling fan and it doesn't overheat anymore. Overheating causes crashes.

Isn't it possible that this is not the problem that disappeared, but that you disassembled and reconnected the bottom sensor connector, which was badly contacted?

What would make the wires do that in the first place? Hard landings?
