Is it sentence mixing or actual text to speexh? If its text to speech, what is it called im trying to find it for a video like this.

Both. Cowbot is TTS and Ratboy's voice is sentence-mixed. This was made so long ago that I completely forget what program I used, nor do I have it on me. Ratboy's voice, officially, uses MacinTalk's Bruce voice pitch-altered, though I believe that's both licensed and really old. An open-source TTS system I know off the top of my head is Speakonia, though that program is equally dated and not the most human-sounding.

I love seeing all the different interpretations for the character’s designs. This is clearly more comic based and kinda like earthworm jim in contrast the the work Theomax_Art does to the characters on instagram. His are all rubber hose and cartoon like

Indeed, interpreting the simple yet distinct characters was the fun park of making this, as well as the reason Ratboy fan art has a special diversity to it. Didn't have Earthworm Jim directly on the brain at the time (I was going for more of a Zeurel thing), but I see the resemblance now... Huh.

It's a reference to an animation test from Ratboy involving a Fish Legion comedian. twitter.com/ratboygenius/status/764320828120903680?s=20 He was on my mind when I was making an earlier version of this animatic, so I phoned him in.

Wow, that Old Fingerhead design is clever!! The octopus look works perfectly with the way his head is already shaped, and you can already kinda interpret an octopus' head in those two different ways depending on the intent...so cool!

Yeah, I always kinda imagined the "fingers" being tentacles, so I expanded from there. It already fits with the "Space is an Ocean" trope that Starship Genius would expand upon, and it also helps that he's a fish catcher, octopi having a fish-related diet. Old Fingerhead was definitely the character I had the most fun making sketches of.
