i like the KST bars too ... recently put on my second set and enjoy them. I like the pullback, and that they are polished stainless rather than plated. Have fun!

How wide are your handlebars? My 2024 are 37”. About 4” too wide for me.
@ridingthethinlines2 ай бұрын
the best I can remember... the KST straight jackets are narrower than the stock bars on the RKS... I think 2 in. narrower. I don't think I ever measured them. KST's website claims the bars are 34in tip to tip... hope this helps!
@James-r9c3m4 ай бұрын
I tie a ratchet strap to my crash bar, anchor it to a good size tree and tip it over until the bike is at a good lean. Once that is established I "bounce" the bike. Pulls my bars back out with little effort. I've done this several times and works fine.

we're possibly heading down that way this month or next month. is it worth it even with all the construction? when I looked at the map, there was quite a few detours and single lane closures.
@ridingthethinlines6 ай бұрын
I think it’s worth it! Very much so, the detours give you a glimpse of the communities, and an opportunity to check out some of the small towns along the way!

I can highly recommend the Aluma MC210 motorcycle trailer. I can carry up to three bikes, two with ease. The stowed/pull-out full-width ramp is effortless and the thing only weighs 600lbs. Everyone needs a solid motorcycle trailer, buy quality and buy once, cry once.
@ridingthethinlines8 ай бұрын
I’m looking at the MC10…? Smaller version of the MC210… with a smaller tow vehicle I’m trying to stay lightweight as possible! Yes indeed, buy once, cry once! Thanks for watching!
@texlee848 ай бұрын
@@ridingthethinlines I started out thinking I was going to buy the MC10 as well but when I got a deal on the 210 for just a few shekels more I couldn't pass up the upgrade. The only drawback to the 210 is it's width when it comes to trying to fit it in a single width garage door. Nevertheless, I highly recommend the trailer, three years with it now and it has been amazing, one hell of a warranty and customer service as well.
