Maggots eat only dead flesh, and they are used even today to clean certain types of wounds. Mostly vets use them, but mainstream human doctors too, under the right circumstances.

His dad didn't leave him - custody was given to mother and she left almost immediately, dad never knew He also didn't call him though, but he had every right to think his mother is taking care of him so he wasn't too afraid That neighbor that he kills in 7th episode probably wasn't really killed by him, but in reality he was found dead in his own apartment In the prison Dahmer was trying to piss off as many people as he could, because he wanted death penalty, but in Wisconsin it wasn't possible, so he thought some inmate would kill him, also he got around 12 000 $ from fan mail And officer of the year stuff didn't happen

The Hell Priest is actually supposed to be andronist. Having both feminine and masculine features. Like how Clive Barker described the Hell Priest in his novella the Hellbound Heart. So I actually like this film. The Cenobites aren't evil. They're cosmic horror. Good and evil are human constructs. The cenobites are beyond that.

What the Beatles are to music, Monty Python is to comedy. George Harrison said that whatever spirit guided the Beatles was transfered to Monty Python. As The Beatles were disbanding in 69-70 the Python's were just starting their first BBC TV shows entitled Monty Python's Flying Circus. I recommend Monty Python's The Life of Brian next...George Harrison mortgaged his house to see it get made.

I, on the other hand, can't stand all those stupid American remakes of European movies, especially Scandinavian thrillers, crime stories and French comedies, which, however, given the generally lower intelligence, educational and cultural level of the population there, I consider completely normal.

Back in superstitious times, they used the reasoning that if you threw a woman in water and she floated (swam), then she was a witch. But if she drowned, then she was innocent. But they could administer Last Rites and she would go to heaven, so it was okay if she died.

I recommend following this film with Monty Python's The Life of Brian. Holy Grail was the group's best work with a small budget, whereas Life of Brian is their best work with a massive budget.
