I find it comical that leading up to the release of this movie just about every single Halloween fans comment about the whole Cory story line went something like.”they better not try n pass the torch of MM to this kid n then have him be the new killer going forward” n now that most have seen the movie it’s “they shouldn’t have killed off Cory, he shouldve lived and became the new shape” lol.. if I were a director I would want nothing to do w making a new Halloween movie bro because the fan base for this franchise is the most impossible to please in all of cinema, even worse than that toxic waste pit that is the Star Wars fan base lol I think DGG made 3 quality films, JJC played the best MM since NC in the OG ‘78 movie n C. Nelson f’n NAILED the mask in all 3 parts of this trilogy which as any die hard fan of the franchise knows is no small feat but accordingly to half of the fans the creative team behind this trilogy was trash n didn’t care about making good Halloween movie etc.. ppl are F’D!! 🤷🏼‍♂️

Such a great movie, I just wish he pulled Laurie in with him. Would've been a classic Myers surprise ending and redemption for how weak he felt in this movie. Great review btw.

@@Ghost-nw9cd a quick edit of this movie would make it great. Open with the end of Kills. The townsfolk are kicking Mike's ass and he eventually jobs them all out but it's all from Cory's perspective (because he's watching from inside his house at 17, 18 years old.) Mike gets up, notices he's being watched but continues to the Strode house to get the final scene from Kills. Then the rest of this movie happens, except in the final scene with Laure, her granddaughter and Cory never leave and Cory hasnt embraced his killer side yet. So Mike is about to kill Cory and that's when you do the scene of him seeing the evil in Cory that we had in the sewers. Mike gets shredded and what is left of the evil contained in his physical form fully manifests itself in Cory. Granddaughter leaves town and Cory finally gets to do what Mike could and kills Laure. Boom, new series with a new Shape

I recommend reading or listening to the novelization. There are a lot of additions like more Michael, more information on the characters, and flashbacks. The novelization of Ends has so much new material.

They messed up when they put Jamie Lee back in the franchise. If they had Laurie in it that would be fine a normal female with ptsd that would work. But we get a 60 year old woman that can not just beat up a regular man which is unbelievable enough but can man handle a man capable of lifting other grown ass men by there neck and several other super human acts. Michaels only job is to scare views what's scary about a dude that can't defeat a nursing home resident or a dude in his early 20s that gets regularly beat up by fucking teenagers wtf.

This definitely wasn’t the best in my opinion but it was about a 6 for me. They should’ve gave Michael and Laurie way more screen time and just focused on them more instead of Cory. So, because they didn’t really do that the finale battle between them kinda felt rushed and didn’t feel earned but I still enjoyed it.

Someone did the math. Laurie's screentime in this was just under 30m, 27% of the 111m run time. Comparatively her screentime in Halloween 2018 was a little over 19m, 18% of the 106m run time and for Halloween Kills she was in just over 10 minutes for the 105m runtime, equating to 9%. Her screentime in this was equal to her COMBINED screentime of the last two films. To further compare, she in roughly 32m of the 91m runtime of Halloween 1978 (35%) and just under 32m of the 86m runtime of H20 (36%). So she was in this film just barely two minutes less than her two other more prominent films and the only reason for the percentage discrepancy is this movie was twenty minutes longer than the others. There was no shortage of Laurie in this film.

Halloween Ends with a different ending with the cult of Thorn mark banned Michael from death and he awakens and starts a murderous kill count at the ending Michael wakes up being tied on top of the car and breaks free and punches the glass pulled Laurie out of the car and kicking her to the ground and gets up pinned her to the junkyard and left her alive and the Haddonfield residents shock that Michael is possessed by the cult of Thorn supernatural force and will kill him but he cannot killed and they beating Michael merciless and the masked man killer ends up picking up a kitchen knife butchered the Haddonfield townsfolk with no mercy until he complete his mission to kill off humanity and they end up dying or injured wounded and Allyson fights Michael he overpowered her gain the upper hand stabbed her in the arm pit and knocks her ground and Laurie lunges at Michael and he turns around stabbed her in the heart killing her slowly and walks away Laurie is sadly dying 😢 🙏 💔 😞 💙 Allyson trying to keep Laurie alive and she said Allyson go find Michael and make him pay and she dies slowly and Allyson cries hysterical 😢 and Michael succeeded killing the Haddonfield townsfolk and Laurie and he walked away ending the movie and evil cannot be killed

I wished there was more Micheal myers in this just him stalking Laurie, Alyson, and Corey like the original and him killing more people brutality to get back strength for a great final battle. Even the final battle didn’t really seem like a final battle it felt very anticlimactic… he could of had him tryna grab Laurie while on the car and have her crash into the grinder then her monologue about it being the end him still trying to grab her then decapitating him like h20 and then grinding him. Would have been a sick end tbh. (Also Alyson character downfall and poor Lindsey being so sidelined, I wished a lot of the other characters were involved) anyway it’s… alright, 4.5/10 (•.•)
