How are you liking your 14ft rod ? I just received my 12ft orange crush and it’s way too bulky and way too heavy hell after 3 practice casts I just wanted toss it . Better off just going buying an actually surf rods at least I can get a grip on them and be lot lighter .

Where should you look for catfish in the November and December time frames?

Nice fish and good place to bank fish. Wish there was more open space along the Tennessee River. Never could understand when boating that there was very few open bank spaces.

Heard of fishing for big brown trout with an imitation gopher fly.

You are definitely loaded for bear with the long rods and heavy reels. Which Asian carp: silver, black, bighead, grass? Hopefully the silver carp, the jumping kind. When they start jumping, it's easy to net them. Not aware that they were available as bait.

I have nine grandkids and one great grand son. They call me Pop-Pop, too. Nice video and lots of places to fish in Tennessee.

I think my dad has a 13 footer after I bought him a 12 footer. His was used and he put a couple guides on it because they were messed up. Both rods have got thirty pound mono on them

Hey Steve O! I think I have discovered the mystery of why turtles keep stealing my Blue Ridge blood soaked carp bait I got from Dunsmore bait store. I am solely a bank fisherman and the turtles have easy access to the shore line. In a boat you are far away from shore and the turtles won't wander that far into the lake. 3 times now I have went out recently, and turtles have picked me clean every time. So as a bank fisherman I think I will give up on cut bait. On the other hand, every time I use nightcrawlers under a float, and work the line to make movement, I always get plenty of catfish. 15 catfish over three trips now. So I have learned my lesson! If you want the rest of my blood bait, then have at it! Haha.
