I always read that Maslow's Esteem need was external esteem, rather than self-esteem which belongs in Self-Actualization. Lately, I've seen it listed, as you have it, as Self-esteem. And yet, that was not the way you verbally described it.

Thank you for the incredible summary! As a CEO, I can confirm that every time you highlight the importance of the right people, it truly impacts our organization. Sometimes, we do the opposite - we hire quickly and fire slowly - which ends up being detrimental to both the employees and the organization. What happens if someone uses peripheral route processing to make a decision but they get 'locked into it', like she falls pregnant because of a one-night fling or someone makes a bad financial investment or they fall into a decision but social pressure makes it difficult to change their mind or exit the position?

It took me years to get SMART to delete "Termination" from their published version. SMART, essentially had a model of 18 months being finished in one's recovery. I've been working my recovery for over 40 years and I'm not finished. I hope to be dead before I'm finished. Simply, for those of us recovering from addiction, "Termination" implies Cure over Remission. And, for some of us Termination is death thru relapse. So, when I teach the model I add the last stage, added to the original "Relapse and/or Return." I wish we'd stop teaching the Termination stage. I talked to Dr. DiClemente after taking a seminar from him years ago. He agreed, especially for smokers, there is no Termination as one can relapse at many, many years nicotine free. That's why, I believe, Termination is not in their original model. Still, a very good video. Thank you for posting.

thank you very much for this informative video, if possible to explain how to be able to get some of the details of competitors, which is normally private and hard to find it on their website or social media platform especially when we want to add their real challenges or what opportunities they consider? their traffic? which is not public info, their employees demography and data....etc
