Here are queations 1 Pakistan offered open private investigation. India never sent any investigator. Alan warne ( covers airshows around the wold including india) inspected and confirmed that all of rhe missiles of mig 21 are there. 2 Whers is the video of spice 2000 bomb heading towards target? Pakistan releaaed the video of h4 SOW. How come India never released any? 3 Why Christine fairs rejected Indian claim though she is a pro Indian. She stated it on IAF chief Dhanoa- face? 4 Why Chritine fairs stated stated that IAF presented computer generated fake radars. 5 Why ASPI Australian Stretegic Policy Institute rejected india's claim? 6 Why ESI European Space Imaging Institute rejected Indian claim? 7 IAF requested ASPI to review. Why ASPI rejected their claim twice 8 Why Indian defence analyst rejected indian claim on F 16 powerplant and he stated that it was mig 21's cowl panel? 9 Why India logged the diplomatic protest to sweden over providing Saab Erieye to Pakistan 10 Why NFTV stated that Su 30 out gunned by the Pakistani F 16s The truth llies in Indian PM statement "We wish we had Rafael"

...& sailing upwind with sails designed on the assumption that the wind blows, rather than sucks, is also a thing that works. Even given the Bernoulli Effect, air masses acting on BOTH sides of a properly-trimmed sail will be driving you forward.

The airflow model in the video describes air molecules under gravitational effects on a macroscopic scale, but it does not fully capture gravity’s regulatory role at the microscopic level. While the explanation highlights necessary conditions (pressure & momentum gradients), it is insufficient to fully explain lift, *and Tyson is neither fully expressing the missing component* that lies in gravity’s spin-2 nature, which introduces a deeper regulatory mechanism to airfoil aerodynamics. A. Quantum Gravity's Role in Airfoil Lift Dynamics - Gravitational Symmetry and Pressure Alignment: 1. Gravity’s spin-2 field *seeks* harmonic balance, *subtly* aligning pressure gradients and airflow trajectories. 2. This alignment is a regulatory condition ensuring consistent flow behavior across different energy scales. B. Dynamic Regulation via Spin-2 Interactions: *Unlike classical descriptions, gravity actively mediates energy redistribution in the airflow, influencing:* 1. Molecular momentum transfer at the boundary layer. 2. Stability of the airfoil’s wake and vortex formation. C. Entropy, Asymmetry, and Collapse to Equilibrium: 1. Initially asymmetric airflows (due to motion over the airfoil) undergo entropy-driven collapse into a unique flow state. 2. This self-regulating mechanism, influenced by gravitational harmonics, ensures stable lift production. *Extending De Broglie Wavelength Hypothesis & Bernoulli’s Principle* A. Quantum-Coherent Airflow States: 1. At microscopic scales, air molecules exhibit *wave-particle duality,* influencing local pressure variations. 2. The *De Broglie wavelength* associated with moving air molecules contributes to coherent energy redistribution, *reinforcing Bernoulli’s principle.* B. Gravitational Influence on Mean Free Path & Flow Behavior: 1. The spin-2 gravitational field *modulates the molecular mean free path,* subtly impacting *viscous and turbulent interactions.* 2. This ensures the smooth transition of airflow, maintaining lift stability. *Unified Perspective: Bridging Classical Aerodynamics and Quantum Gravity* Traditional aerodynamics explains how lift is generated, but integrating quantum gravity effects provides insight into why airflows self-regulate around an airfoil. The interplay between: A. Gravity’s spin-2 nature, B. Wave-like molecular behavior (De Broglie hypothesis), and C. Macroscopic airflow gradients (Bernoulli’s principle & momentum conservation) creates a *unified framework* where *microscopic gravity effects influence macroscopic lift dynamics.* This harmonized perspective deepens our understanding of airfoil performance, energy flow, and gravitational field interactions in fluid dynamics.

Magnar, what cost saving measures did your airlines use throughout your career? And what changes were added to your responsibilities as a pilot during those instances?

The best way to keep the costs down is to fly at an optimum altitude, and do not wear out the brakes.

Another random question, I had to deviate due to weather shortly after take-off before reaching cruise altitude and now I am at the risk of reaching my destination slightly below MFOD. While not an emergency it will leave me without the ability to alternate, should I press on with my 2 hour flight or return to my origin?
@FlywithMagnar
@FlywithMagnar Күн бұрын
If the weather for the rest of the route + destiantion + alternate is good, I would continue with the following fuel saving measures: 1) Long range cruise. 2) Fly as high as possible (unless there is an increasing headwind with altitude.) 3) Descend with reduced speed. 4) Avoid using HIGH flow for the air condidtioning packs. All of them will result in reduced IAS, which means less drag.

Hi Magnar, I wanted to ask you rather randomly... if I am in a turn with a constant bank angle, will my turn rate decrease if I increase my airspeed?
@FlywithMagnar
@FlywithMagnar Күн бұрын
Yes. The rate of turn will decrease when you increase the turn. The formula for turn rate (ROT) relative to speed (V) and bank angle (𝞪) is: ROT = (g * tan(𝞪)) / V; where g is the acceleration due to gravity.

What about aircraft like the A321, whose plan view emphasizes the very 'weakly' sized and stubby wings when set against its longer length fuselage in direct comparison with the A320, where the proportions are not as accentuated? If the A321 wing becomes heavily iced, how quickly degraded does the plane's ability to fly set in? I am quite incredulous the A321 can fly at all, but then again, an expert I am not. All this comes from seeing the plan view of the ATR series, whose wing is thin and long. The stall accident in Brazil reminds me of an accident Jeffrey K Quill described while flight testing the Wellesley bomber, which had a very slight chord, though staight long wing profile while having a long fuselage, like the ATR. In fact, the aircraft resembled a 4-bladed propellor in this way. It was begging to weathervane. Quill described the aircraft as suddenly and without warning, deviating from normal, straight flight and entering a flat spin. He had to bail out as there was nothing he could do to arrest the spin forces that once started, could not be stopped. Too much momentum was being carried in the spin.

Great video , thank you.I have to ask - why did the designers opt for a T-tail for ATR (and Dash 8)? Why didn't they go with safer option like on Fokker 50? Also, Magnar unleashes a burn at: 3:03 👌
@Jamenator1
@Jamenator1 2 күн бұрын
T-tail keeps the horizontal stabiliser mostly out of the prop slipstream, meaning less pitch change with power change (i.e. better handling). It also keeps it away from the ground so it's less likely to hit by ground vehicles. Having a T-tail doesn't necessarily mean classic deep stall is possible, it depends heavily on the rest of the aircraft design and configuration as well. Some T-tail aircraft will pitch down at the stall, even if nose up input being held, (which is the opposite of a deep stall). Unrecoverable spin modes may still be possible though. The Colgan Q400 which stalled reached a maximum of about 27 degrees AOA with the stick fully aft, but this value was varying up and down with an average of around 15-20 degrees. Stalled, but still relatively low, not really deep stall territory. There's nothing I can find to suggest it was ever deep stalled.

Hi Magnar A question that's come up recently is what exactly the ALT OFF button does on the SURV page of the VCP. The FCOM says it allows you to turn off altitude reporting and so does ATA 34. I've been recently told that most airports expect us to have alt reporting even on the ground but can't this cause TCAS TAs to aircraft on approach?
@FlywithMagnar
@FlywithMagnar 3 күн бұрын
FCOM is correct. It is to turn off altitude reporting. This is standard procedure at airports where radar is used to monitor ground movements. I have never heard we should keep altitude reporting ON during taxi. Can you please check with your source?
@coryt490
@coryt490 2 күн бұрын
@FlywithMagnar I'm told that ATC at a nørthern eurøpean airport's main hub prefers us to have ALT on for some reason. Is it possible that the weight on wheels deactivates ALT reporting even with ALT OFF unchecked and that with it checked that the aircraft identifier is not transmitted?

The problems of the DASH/8 in severe icing are certainly very compareable to those of the ATR, maybe with the exception of the ATRs potential for aileron hinge moment reversal once ice ridges have formed.
