@@primevalyautja1305 liking something is subjective. The quality of animation does have objective qualities that we can judge. Such as the lighting… if the animation was so dark that we couldn’t see the movie that is objectively bad, however someone could still subjectively like it.

Transformers One was definitely my favorite movie to! I remember seeing a trailer for it when watching The Garfield Movie and I was unsure if it was for kids or some kind of adult comedy. I also got into MLP back in January 2024 and when I came across the Transformers X MLP crossover comic I was curious. I saw it in 3D and I absolutely loved it! I loved how it didn't pull punches with the dialogue or scenes and like you said it made me a fan Now I was always more of a casual fan, I remember seeing the 2007 film when I was 5 on a drive in theater and thought it was so cool, even played the movie tie in game from time to time. Sometimes I'd get Transformers toys periodically and I remember when Robots in Disguise (2015) came out, I didn't follow it heavily but I remember liking it. So I've always been more of a casual fan but TF1 made me a huge fan!

@@babygiraffe53I dunno; I haven't seen the full episode proper, but it does take place during the winter and MAYBE some Christmas elements are in the story? I mainly haven't seen it because I've heard it's pretty bad (like most of the post-2009 videos) This one was also the final original VeggieTales video to utilize the original designs of the characters, released shortly before 'VeggieTales in the House" and a few months before the final original VeggieTales video overall, "Noah's Ark", which uses the "In the House" designs and was critically panned when it came out. The original VeggieTales designs did get used again in "The VeggieTales Show", a straight-to-streaming series that got released from 2019 to 2022, and since then, we haven't gotten much new content from VeggieTales aside from the podcast that had the entire cast replaced and nobody liked There's your VeggieTales lore dump

After seeing it, I was SHOCKED that the point of view character had no change and learned no lesson. She was a protagonist in name only. Interesting things happened in other people’s stories around her, but she was flat as a drawn line and ended exactly the same as she started. The animation was also a joke. Like watch some clips of the horses running and the fat bad guy gesturing at the beginning. Hilariously bad. But then, that's all modern writers can do. They have no life experiences, so they write characters that have none, either. On top of that, they GENUINELY believe that girlboss characters, like Hera, don't NEED to change. That they're perfect as they are, despite the fact that Hera would be classified as a villain for putting her people in danger, burning their city down, and killing off her family line due to stubbornness.

Hèra's cousin is Fréaláf Hildeson, son of Helm's sister Hild. The film could not focus solely on Helm or it would have ended too soon. Helm does not survive the siege of the Hornburg. As it is, Fréaláf is brought back into the story sooner than in the original tale, where he only leads his men out of Dunharrow after the Long Winter lifts. WOTR could have been worse; it's still better than Rings of Power. And, yeah, I know that's not exactly a ringing endorsement.
@JulieMoran1832

Fréaláf should have killed Wulf. There is no reason for Hera to do it, other than to make her the girl boss who will "marry no man"; thus ends the line of Helm and Sheildmaidens.
@otaku-sempai2197
@otaku-sempai2197 15 күн бұрын
@@JulieMoran1832 Based on Tolkien's original story, Wulf should have been killed at Edoras and not Helm's Deep. That's just one of many alterations. Even so, Hèra really isn't the "girl boss" or Mary Sue that some have claimed. She should still have been better developed though. At the very least, her viewpoint was needed since her father and brothers are all dead before the end of the Long Winter and the siege.

All the VeggieTales Christmas shows were great. But "Its A Meaningful Life" felt forced as a Christmas movie. I enjoy it and think it has great potential. But Stewart needed to be built up more and either the story should not take place during Christmas or build more Christmas elements in the show itself.
