Kyle Reese was born in 2002. With 27 years old (2029), he went back to the past (1984), impregnated Sarah and died. When John Connor is 17 years old, his father Kyle will be born... and he must ensure, without fail, to return him to the past, selling an image of Sarah that will make him fall in love with her, to ensure his conception.

I was 13 when The Terminator came out and I absolutely loved it. While not my favorite movie ever, The Terminator is pretty high on my list. My favorite movie is 1981's Escape from New York. The Terminator was my introduction to James Cameron; because of this movie and Aliens in 1986, he became one of my favorite directors. I especially loved when he made Titanic. Looking forward to your reaction to T-2. It is not too often a sequel is better than the original, but T-2 pulled it off. And it was so awesome seeing T-2 in theaters. It was quite the experience.

At the beginning, with the guys around at the viewpoint, the blue haired is Bill Paxton, a very well known actor who appeared in Titanic, Aliens or Twister, among others.

A sad fact, is when Kyle said Sarah, that he always wondered what was she thinking at that moment in the picture. And she was thinking in Kyle during that tape record.

1. Linda Hamilton ROCKED. She's really built in T2. "Terminator 2 Judgment Day" is the action movie GOAT.🤩 2. Lance Henriksen/Vukovich, Michael Biehn/Reese and Bill Paxton/punk also played in "Aliens" as Bishop, Hicks and Hudson respectively. 3.We have limited AI now. So does China.😱😱 4. Movie magic: If this wasn't a movie the ammunition would not have been available on the gun shop counter. 5. More movie magic: Reese easily breaks into a store at night. 6. Ginger's boyfriend Matt must be a lousy lay if she needs rock and roll to "rock and roll". 😏 7. Watching people react to the eye operation is worth watching this all by itself. 8. THAT'S a bitch slap.😏

At 8:03 to 8:05 in this video, Lance Henriksen (Bishop, from Aliens) says "the press is gonna be short stroking this all over the place." I had no idea what the hell that meant for almost forty years, until I finally learned online that it is an expression in golf. I still don't really understand what he means, but at least now I know where the expression comes from.

Great reaction, young lady. I saw this when it first came out as a 15 year old. 41 years ago. Man, I feel old!!!! It blew everyone away. I love that you appreciated the intelligence of the script. Sure, it's an action movie, and one of the best ever. But it has a GREAT screenplay and the acting is first class. OF COURSE you must watch T2 now!!!! It is without question one of the best sequels ever made. And if you thought Arnie was scary in this movie as the Terminator, just wait until you see him in T2!!!!

The one continuity error I can never unsee with this movie, In the phone book the street address's of Sarahs was 1823, 2816 and 309 but when Arnold went up to the house of the one the street address was 14239. Of course the "edit"here didnt show the street address.

Because of the low budget, a lot of filming was done guerrilla-style. For example, at one point, Schwarzenegger was told to walk across Sunset Boulevard and break a car window. It wasn't their car. Just a car parked on the street.

This is truly one of the greatest films to ever come from the 80’s and in the sci-fi genre as a whole. The sequel is even better

Great reaction to this 80s action/sci-fi classic... I hope that you react to Terminator 2 Judgement Day soon (many people say it is just as good or even better than the 1st film)....there are 2 cuts/versions of T2. In my opinion stick with the theatrical version first (that is the version most peope first saw in theaters when it came out). Afterwards, if you wish, feel free to then watch the Extended Special Edition version of T2 (to see what was changed/added/deleted). It will be up to you if you want to do any of the other sequels after T2 (they range in quility going forward. Some are decent films while others are not as good - you can judge those films for yourself if you choose to continue).

*My favorite bit of comedy is in the apartment as the superintendent asks about the odor coming from the room. The Terminator cycles through possible responses and comes up with "Fuck you, asshole", which is a nod to the scene where The Terminator first arrived and encountered/slaughtered that gang of thugs led by Bill Paxton.*

Very good catching the Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher always changes. When you read the books, you will find out why this is happening. The Movies never hint why it is happening. Again the book is wonderful about what all happens to Umbridge, it leaves the readers happy, laughing and laughing so hard some of us cried with joy. You actually have three films to watch, The Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows parts 1 & 2.

Also, Jabba's palace and band-totally not the same place or group as the first movie. Same planet, yes. Like many others have said, Darth Vader was going to die anyway because of the Emperor's force lightning.
