In a war of the chosen playthrough recently was on the assassin's base mission. I destroyed the sarcophagus but most of my team was low health or blinded with multiple enemies to deal with. Used teamwork to give my reaper an extra shot and got execution on the assassin.

Those bosses suck, I hate them, especially her. I've lost more soldiers fighting this B**** than anyone else, even the chosen.

Hehehe... Reminds me of my fight against, I think the warlord, in his lair. He just revived himself, went into a monologue, stepped off his platform... and Mox with his puny bullpup just executed him on the spot. I fell from my chair laughing 😂

You see, a 5% triggering is the same as a 95% NOT triggering, so it only makes sense that it happens immediately

Respect bro.I felt the same way when i somehow rolled an execution shot on an King archon.

Killed two of the three exactly the same way with the execution. But I had a higher chance (20% i believe) item equipped on several of the squad, so it helped a lot.

So many hours in this game, never seen this thing before. Kinda glad.

Honestly I never knew the attachment works on the royals which makes it even funnier that you can in theory kill all the bosses in one turn if your lucky (this is xcom so no one is that lucky)

Ran into this boss on a blacksite mission. Managed to stun it right next to my blademaster and bladestorm Ranger. After a couple slices from bladestorm triggering and chain shot from my shredder grenadier and deadeye from sniper. Managed to kill it on my first encounter with it.

On a recent playthrough the viper king fight ended as quickly as it started he appeared moved and everyone on overwatch unloaded on him and one soldier executed him. Next one Berserker queen fight was an avenger defense mission she rolled up close to the ramp and a ranger executed her too. (The one was hard) Archon king first time he escaped 2nd time nearly killed him escaped again third time executed immediately after discovery him. The 10% chance became a must have on all weapons.

It's funny this was recommended because just recently I killed a berserker with a 70% overwatch shot and a superior repeater. I was like "Well okay so repeaters work on literally everything then." Stupidly op weapon mod btw right next to scope.

i stacked up on acid grenades for this boss, the acid keeps her from moving around, and the timer on it also doesnt run on the bosses bullshit reaction phase. She also cant escape to her portal even if its opened.

Was playing wotc recently first shot I took at the queen was with outrider wanted to shred her armour to make any future engagement easier and instead of few damage and shredding the 5% chance for repeater activated got the instakill laughed nonstop for 20 mins afterwards. Imo best first encounter with the ruler I've had so far pure gold

She was my veteran!!! 😭😭😭" From other side: "You somehow manage to miss a 82% shot TWICE and you've got yourself killed by that... You fucking blind ass. Yep, for all those missed 98% shots and bad damage rolls that leave an enemy with 1 hp alive, there does come a time when the RNG gods send a blessing instead of a curse.

Something similar like that, Happened to me, but it was the Archon king, Had the best armor & weapons, plus 3 spark's" to reduce human casualties, had my best heavy with me, had Superior attachments, bigger magazine & repeater/laser sight

had this happen to me about 4 hrs ago and the game crashed and is now forcing me to reinstall the bloody game found out the only reason it crashed was the weapon mod i was using visual effect was bugged and the hit of the enemy wrecked my game to the point it would not even reload

best part i had once with this game - one of the chosen i fought ran with full hp in his turn into a burning obstacle and just exploded... it was funny

What are you playing? Def not 2 and I don't remember that from Chosen, and I doubt it's the first... Some other dlc for that frost bomb and crossbow gun?

So, the obvious strategy for her just seems to be give everyone a superior repeater. If you don't kill her by the end of the second turn with 12 shots, RNGsus has forsaken you.

This happened to me too

I thought I had the luckiest engagement vs. BQ when my ranger executed it with first shot. But then, it was the second engagement, it managed to portal out on the first and was left with like half hp already. Nope. This was way luckier. But then, in WotC I encountered it on facility raid mission. I didn't feel ready to engage it, so I just used Reaper to set the X4 without even activating the ruler. And it bit me in the backside later, as BQ chose to reappear on Avenger defense mission

I had a 4 hour mission to push back the assassin attack on the avenger. It was so fing hard. 😆

I had this happen at an advent compound. My ranger was the only one up and not knocked unconscious and executed a fully healthy b queen. I was screaming.

That was so lucky
