How did you manage to get Zhang from Enemy Wirhin over into WOTC? I didn't even succeed to import my character pool from the regular XCOM 2 game.

He's part of my pre-expansion character pool. I created him by hand and then used a mod (which I haven't carried over yet) to give him his old voice pack.

So if I have him in my caracter pool on XCOM Enimy Within, there's a possibility to get him over to WOTC? Somehow would be cool in case I replay it.

You would have to create him manually, and then grab the mod that adds his voice pack. That's how I created him. There's no way to import a character from XCOM: Enemy Within into XCOM 2.
