Just a heads up if you continue showing off certain things then reloading the save to undo them: certain things are not undone by a save reload. If you save a picture of a creature to the compendium, a save reload won't remove the picture. Unsure if there are any other examples.

That Fairy hanging out for more than 0.5 seconds was just begging Link to grab it! Almost like it was trying to mess with your Minimalist run. lol
@MyNameOnYoutubeКүн бұрын
It was actually because Link had the Yiga Set equipped, this set has stealth up. Stealth up makes even the loudest of steps just as quiet as crouching. Running or attacking immediately nullifies the stealth.
@Kurea47Күн бұрын
@@MyNameOnKZbin It's kind of an inside joke that Fairies can and will vamoose matter how quiet Link is, no matter what Stealth armor bonus he's wearing/Stealth potion he's drunk. But sometimes the game tries to "help" Wolf Link not knowing this is a Minimalist Run which makes it funny. But seriously, I hope you had better luck than me collecting Fairies. I've found I have to practically move Link in slow motion when he gets close then mash "A" as soon as the "Take" prompt shows up even with the Sheikah Armor's Stealth Bonus. And if there's one floating above Link's head - just out of reach - and he jumps, the Fairy is like "Too bad, so sad! See ya next week! NOT!" 😖

Actually, it was'nt rain that put out the Fire, if it was, the cooking pot would've been put out too. The thing that happend was that the boko went to sleep, and when monsters go to sleep, they put out fiers. "But Why didin't the Fire go out the other times?", you're probably asking. Well, it did, the boko just lighted it on Fire again. But When they didin't, I'm guessing it was becuse they were too far away.

Good to know that the dragon starts to fly lower only after talking to the Deku Tree. I thought that beating the boss is sufficient, but it makes sense considering what the Deku Tree tells Link. But this is in fact the ONLY way to make the dragon fly lower, since even if you get the "particular item related to her", she stays at the high altitude. (this is so stupid IMO) I have video proof of that and I just checked it.

if you still havent finished this one yet (I say this because I just started the video) I'd suggest bringing up 3 raw meat and letting them freeze. They'll create a frictionless surface, and you can put a fan and steering stick on them for maneuverability (the reason I suggest 3 raw meat is for balancing purposes, and it's probably lighter than the sled, so easier to get up, at least a little bit)

That is some next level problem-solving, routing, and determination to get this bow. Chances are this will be one of the few video game achievements you'll remember for a very long time as something you'll be proud of having accomplished. If you're not picking up items unless you absolutely have to for minimalism, why are you allowing yourself to pick up the gloom sword when you don't need it? If you might need it in the future, couldn't you just pick up any weapon you find but not use them until you need them?

It was part 5 ("equipment roadblocks"). As for the Gloom Sword, I picked it up because IF(!) I'm going to need a bladed weapon later, it makes sense to pick up the one thing that drops anyway from a mandatory boss. If I would not have picked it up, and eventually noticed that I needed a bladed weapon for something mandatory, then my only option then would be to get said blade elsewhere, where it might lead to a permanent change then. Redoing the original mandatory fight won't be an option anymore, and the original blade will have long despawned. As for why I don't do it more often: I don't want to lose track of which items are REALLY mandatory, and which ones are just convenient to have, so I prefer to keep these items as exceptions instead of it being the norm that I pick up everything. ;)

Congratulations for clearing Korok forest! I hope there is some kind of reason that makes all dungeons mandatory because otherwise the final boss gauntlet is gonna be close to impossible. Theoretically, you could use Mineru for everything before Ganondorf. But the sages only appear in one of the three Ganondorf phases, so you need some way to damage him...
@paulrance54459 күн бұрын
Ehmmmm If the spear’s true damage is 6, wouldn’t it be 16 with attack up? Because last I checked, 6 + 10 ≠ 14. Also it’s not a hidden modifier at all. The devs just decided that spears will deal lower damage than what is shown, and two handed weapons will deal more damage than what is shown. I assume this was to incentivise using spears, but this retroactively makes all spears (except the royal guard one) suck hard. Even the “highest base damage spear” (the gloom spear) which is shown to have 40 damage, actually deals 30, making it super inferior to the sword and club of that set. Edit: Unfortunately for you, you have to fight Phantom Ganon again. 10 of him, before the final boss, to be exact. Now normally, he appears in the Hyrule Castle sanctum after having beaten the 4 temples and the various monster forces around Hyrule Castle (the flying one), but due to the fact that Fire, Wind and Water are not mandatory (Water technically is because of the Ancient Zora Waterworks but you don’t have to finish it) you have to fight him before the final boss. But he’s the last enemy before Ganondorf, as before him you must battle the army, and the bosses of the temples you haven’t completed.
@WolfLink_justlookingfordragon2 күн бұрын
I was going by a reddit source (www.reddit.com/r/tearsofthekingdom/comments/13wrp2g/a_mostly_complete_post_about_how_the_weapon/) that claimed it is a modifier of 1.3268 applied after any bonuses. Shown DMG: 18 True DMG: 18/1.3268 = 13.566 rounded up = 14 It is hard to verify without being able to dig through the code tho, as the Champion's Tunic / Divine Beast Helmets no longer show the accurate HP numbers of enemies. As for the last bossfight ... I am fairly sure that will be the day I'm finally going insane ^^° if my sanity survived the Gibdo Queen until then, that is. I *think* the items picked up during the boss rush (everything enemies drop) don't permanently unlock item descriptions since the story reverts back to the point before Link entered the arena, which would make it possible to just grab and fuse everything that deals a decent amount of damage ... but even then the entire boss rush will be a nightmare.
