Thanks, Frank. For those caps where the OCP gaskets fit loosely, the E.J. Basnett Co. gaskets will fit a lot better, no adhesive necessary. I like to keep some of both on hand.

I have been using the same pic for a few years now until it broke on the last gasket I did. Now you have reminded me I need to stop at Harbor Freight on my way home this morning. Thanks for sharing and God bless.

Excellent instructional video. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge with the world. Its a wonderful thing to do, and it ensures the growth and interest in this vast Coleman world for younger generations to enjoy. Also I appreciate you including the Canadian market information, which as you know is often different from the American products. Thanks Frank. - Mike from Canada

Fantastic! I've not had the "pleasure" yet to replace the cap gasket on any of my Colemans but i wonder if you put liquid dish soap on the new one if it'll help it slip in there easier.

I was a scuba repair tech long ago, we used dental picks for replacing all the O-rings, along with other dental tools. Look online for these tools, they're worth their weight in gold for this kind of work. Or ask your dentist for old ones.

Made the cap vise this afternoon. Works great. Replaced 2 gaskets, 1 a 200A, and the other a 288. Nuked about an inch of water in a coffee cup for 1 minute, dropped in the old cap to soften it up, and got them out easily. Also used the same method to heat up the new gaskets. Used a paint can opener to install new gasket. Thanks, Frank!

I use a paint can opener also! 👍🏻 Did you know can also use it to open a bottle of beer? 😂
@@Dominic.Minischetti and all these years I thought it was a beer bottle opener that just happened to be useful for opening paint cans also! 😂
