So happy I found you guys great episode. I totally relate to wanting to snack all night or even a snack in the middle of the night. Currently a habit that I am working on breaking. I’m having more balanced meals throughout the day, which is definitely helping.

Oh I do that underfueling, waking in the night too hungry to sleep and getting into that cycle too often. I don’t feel like breakfast but I make a berry chocolate protein overnight oat and make myself eat it first thing. I’ll still be hungry after my workout but as long as I get 2 or 3 more meals in I’m good. If I get busy and forget to eat big problem sleeping. I don’t understand these longevity people saying we sleep better hungry. I do not at all!

This is my number one biggest struggle! I have no problem committing to the training and going all in with discipline. However, getting out of the under fueling mindset and focusing on performance is something I majorly struggle with. Would love to see more on this topic.

Hi! Great video. I have a question. For the example of the peanut butter..youvgave a number of 16g...what made you choose q6g? Basically what I'm asking is, how do I create a balanced diet,...if that makes sense ....and lastly, I understand how to calculate everything, but not sure how to implement them final numbers into a diet ive gotten 184g protein, 404g carbs and 66g fat. What do I do with these numbers?

I too have much more of a passion for the journey over the objective or competition. When competing in CrossFit (or running), the competition became more of a stressor than it should have been. And even though we can tend to perform at our best when the spotlight is on.. when the lights go down I would always look back and think.. what am I doing this for? And the journey would continue and the day to day fitness is what we long to love for not just physical but more importantly our mental wellness.

But how do you measure the meal out to match?. If I do 3 meals and each is around 70 g of protein per meal, then do I literally measure 70g of beef? Or does it vary by the type of protein to determine what is 70 g of protein?

Like a lot of videos on the ski erg technique, this one has little relation to the sport the machine was invented for: nordic ski racing. This is for people who are trying to get big impressive numbers on the monitor. I am only interested in training for ski racing when I can’t get out on skis or roller skis and don’t sant to screw up my skiing. Don’t follow this video if you want to ski well.
