I think when Jeff mentions “team culture” I think was he was referring to was the idea that he didn’t want Bobby to install a bunch of HIS devs into the team that could have resulted in sexual harassment. I assume he was trying to keep his workers safe. That being said more devs in necessary for a game like overwatch to stay alive so I think he was stuck between a rock and a hard place

Toronto was allowed to “pause” the game for like 45 min (don’t know the actual time but I’m certain it was longer than the allotted pause time) to wait for Lenny. So maybe NRG should get the same treatment

1. This is a non-fiction book. They'll make money on the tour, not the book. If you buy the book expecting (more, better...) info, then you'll be disappointed. 2. AVRL, AVAST, REINFORCE, and JAWS have never served in a C-Suite, have never heard of Six Sigma, and have no idea why they are criticizing Zerza. "OOH, Money! Money! GREED GREED!" I quit platchat the first time around 2019 because of Avast, and I feel afraid I might do it again but I will give it another fair shot for now. Can we have less straight teenage memeing and yapping like twitch chat? Just weave in a bit more substance. Banter nonstop just to banter just isn't that entertaining. EDIT: The second half was much better. Jumping the gun here a bit maybe.

His entire argument was "its working today and thus they shouldve done that earlier" Ah yes I too wish I lived in a reality where every lesson I learned from the mistakes I made could be learned without making the mistakes first. Avast was right in that segment - Kaplan and the team had a different vision and accidentally created something different that was a commercial success. They were never going to abandon their original vision without some catastrophic event which is exactly what it took to push OW2 in the way it is now.

I know Overwatch League had its problems, but damn I miss the production and branding of it. The show intros were top tier, the music was A1, the consistency of watching the same 20 teams shift and change over time, the ease of watching and understanding the schedule. Just a dope experience

Nice bashing on Peps without knowing anything about the Gamin Gladiators situation. This big organisation came with its money, giving the players and staff a better pay check, gave them one chance, and after that they were gone. It's difficult to maintain the same roaster after going back under Peps name, wich is a small org created enssentially by one guy and his twich community (Féfé ex OWL coach and french streamer) They now have a full french roaster because Féfé cares about his players mental health and paycheck. So he choose a lower budget team in a friendly environment to be able to pay everybody and keep a good mood between the guys. The guy love his team and it's his dream to keep it OW pro scene. For the anecdot, Féfé was also a coach for Mandatory during OWCS debut , wich is a good french Valorant team with a big budget and probably a good paycheck going with it. He accepted to coach for them only if they let him managed his schedule to keep Peps in OWCS, just because he love his community and Overwatch. SO watchin you just insinuating they wanted to break their previous team, a roaster Féfé always praised and loved on streams, just for the love of the flag, yeah right... It's ridicule, and offensive. Seems like you cant have a fresh start without somebody shiting in your boots.

God I fucking missed Avast lmao I've been saying this for years, but the Team Peps hype was never warranted. Maybe at first, with the addition of BenBest, FDGod, and Naga, but ever since their debut all they've done is disappoint every single time. One failure after the next, except for that map seven in the Grand Finals in the Summer Series, yet every single time they come back around everyone hypes them up as if they're going to be a top team and they never are. France as a region always finds a way to fumble.

@@juliencamus3523 no, im sure he would have loved to keep the best pieces of the Gaimin Gladiators roster, but yet again I'm seeing people hype up this full French roster acting like they're going to take over Stage 4. This was almost more of a venting comment of feelings I've had for years but never really dumped it anywhere, because I was once on the Peps hype train as well.

@@kahnxo There's a difference between hypin a team a bein a fan of it. I've always loved this team but I've never expeted them to be better or even close to thelevel of SSG or ENCE. Of course you're always gonne find fans that are delusionnal, but it's not the case for everybody And there is this nationalist aspect on your post, suggesting only french people are doing this... I'm kinda tired of this basic french bashing, french people dont think they are better than everybody else god damn... Look at Cloudy's team Sr PeakCheck. I love this team, I watch their games a lot. Watch the tchat next time they play and tell me if you dont feel over hyped while reading it. Sometimes reading the tchat give you the feeling like Cloudy is the greatest genius in the game and they can take down korean teams. And it's nearly a full finnish team, while having a big trashtalker in it with Cloudy. Are they receiving hate for all of this things they can have in common with Peps, not at all. There's only love.
