Do you manage guided tours of historical sites for small groups? Have you considered expanding your investigations to civil war sites? Do you know where the furthest west battle of the civil war was? Picacho Peak, not far from where I live.

The Revalution began in Kittery Maine. Days before the War at Lexington American patriots stormed the Fort in Kittery Maine and took the gun powder from the magazines to supply the Patriots ! Fort Macleary. Kittery Maine.

You should do some videos in Ct. There’s lots of cool spots you could do. New Haven has some old forts/bunkers still and there’s remnants of another in a spot known to only a few.

As a young man I enlisted in the United States Marines. My first permanent duty station was Okinawa Japan. I have always been interested in history so I was excited when I was selected to be a VIP driver at the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima. Sadly someone who was higher ranking than me took that VIP driver job so I wasn't able to go. I went to Okinawa three different times and saw much of the island including battle sights tours. I'm an amateur historian particularly the mid to late 19th century and WW2 but when I found your channel I was hooked. Thank you for what you do!

You are awesome! think I’m in love. 😅 Marlboro is my hometown, and I was in 4th grade for the Bicentennial. We had a field trip that year to Minuteman Park and walked the same ground and over the bridge. Can’t believe that was 50 years ago - and that I’ve lived almost 25% of our nation’s history.

Never heard this story before! Thank you, This has so many similarities to concord and was a very important event! One has to wonder how much this event affected the british armys mood and patience as they marched into lexington and concord only weeks later. Were they expecting similar resistance as what was found in salem and were they more ready and willing to use deadly force bc of how the salem expedition turned out?

I've got a real suggestion. When you showed the spot where the militia stood, you then pointed and waived at the direction the British were coming from. Why not turn the camera, or take a separate shot to show it? Many times in your videos it feels like you just want to be on camera, rather than trying to show us what you are talking about. I have a problem in general with creatiors that have themselves constantly in front of the camera. You'll find that many of us would rather see what you purport to be showing us. Another suggestion is pick up a the pace a little. Also, repeating the peoples full name and ranks more than once in the same paragraph is needlessly stretching out the accounts. I think if you make those changes your views would increase drastically.

Herea a fact for yall, The seven years war was the first world War idc what anyone says 😅 even the revolutionary war could be considered a world war it had multiple nations involved but truly the seven years war was the first WW1, WW1 is technically WW2 and WW2 is technically WW3
