So the first bot is a 3rd party bot from Fansproject. Its old but they make good products. The other yellow bot is actually Hasbro 2nd Gen Combiner Wars Onslaught customized. I added tank treads to his back as kibble for a phantom alt mode, LOL! Thanks a ton for checking it out, I really appreciate it!

LOL!! "About time" is fair, trust me! The truth is, I was burnt out on TF and had gotten pulled into to other properties like GI Joe and Warhammer so I just needed a break from the bots. Everything is cyclical though right? Now I'm rekindling my love for the TFs, so this was really a lot of fun to animate and film. I also had forgotten how much easier it is to animate with TFs! They stand and hold poses soooo much better than human figures!! LOL!

I agree the necks are a bit scrawny and the Batman head is probably a tad too small. Having said all that these 3rd party figs are getting better and better. I foresee them rivaling Mezco real soon.

Awesome to hear my guy! Comments like this remind me why I do what I do. Sometimes you wonder when a video doesn't get a ton of views if its worth it, but if something gets 100 views and helps people learn about stuff, discover things, or gives insight on a toy line or something, its completely worth it! I actually think I'm going to start reviewing more Warhammer stuff... So far I've really just stuck to the Primarchs, but I have tons of the regular figs. What do you think? I feel like the Joytoy Warhammer stuff is still pretty niche despite how great and numerous (with so many new molds and sculpting constantly) that your channel would have a great unique perspective on the line!

I assume it will be at least as tall as Darkwolf, but maybe taller I'd wager... and it'll have all that great sculpt and detail, so I'm really looking forward to seeing that! As far as Joytoy goes, they keep getting better and better with their Warhammer offerings, for the now hundreds of figs I have from them, there's still a large number that I don't even have yet, its hard to keep up! Let me know if you want any advice on where you could start if you want to try some out.

I only started collecting some figures around 3 yrs ago and am still discovering new and great toy makers!! Im on hold with buying figures since Mezco King Conan.Once Im back in the game Ill take that advice....that Horus is just awesome..and huge!!

Many many thanks! This first Joe video was literally mostly shot with custom figs and Snake Eyes. Then when I got Duke I shot more, which allowed me to have the flashbacks from past to present. Agreed! The amount of detail they are able stack on these guys, and somehow still retain not only articulation, but GOOD articulation is astounding! Horus in particular is surprisingly agile for how bulky and over laden he is. Thanks for stopping by!

Yes, now there's a great idea! Even if they did an all new version with different accessories, and/or head sculpts but with the updated articulation I think it would sell. TBH, any modern action figure should have double elbows and knees. I get the idea of maintaining the sculpt but it's too important for the figure to have the most "action" it can have.

Well then you'll at least have 2 bodies. I saw a guy selling a mezco king conan body on ebay stripped down, but it was 99 bucks! That was without a head or hands either. So yeah, it's challenging to get figs that fit Mezco Conan's size and aesthetic. If Mezco wanted to they could sell that base body with random barbarian dude heads and people would buy them up just to go with their Conan figs. Thanks for having a look!

Thanks for having a look! The head on that custom warrior is actually McFarlane/DC John Stewart Green Lantern. However its been heavily customized. I bought it on eBay from a guy that custom paints heads in a realistic looking fashion. It was specifically painted to match the Grayskull body. Once I got it, I then added the Egyptian style beard.

I do try to turn down the music on the reviews so it is truly in the background, but I have found that there are fine lines between too low, low enough and too loud, LOL! Having said that I like putting music in that either fits the figure or is actually from the property, so I'll make sure to double check volumes next time. Thanks again!

Yup, for me, being able to mix and match, kitbash, swap etc. is important. Especially, for those of us that collect several different lines of figures. If something only works by itself, it will most likely sit in a bin or in the box instead being used. Thanks for having a look!

Yeah I'm right there with you. Even though I didn't get the either of the 1st two from Mezco, I seen enough reviews to know he was on the smaller side. I was hoping King Conan might be slightly taller but no dice... I wonder would these Mezco heads fit on Super 7's King Conan...?? That'd be an interesting combo as long as the skin tone was close enough. The biggest hang up here is that, even though we have lots of great Sword and Sorcery/Sandal lines going and coming in the future right now, they all tend towards 7inch scale. If Mezco had of at least made him comparable to Mythic Legions or Xesray it would be close enough....Sigh.... What could have been...LOL... Thanks for having a look!

It's really the only "flaw" for this figure, IMO. Although, you do an excellent job of showcasing your Mezco Conan with Mythic Legions and other lines in your vids and the size difference isn't very noticeable... Like I showed in the video though, once you get to the Masterverse and Super 7 stuff the small size is very noticeable.

Yeah, I recall you saying you were waiting on yours and I figured maybe you had ordered from BBTS who is notoriously late with getting their items in compared to other places. That's why I was a little surprised that I was able to find him on eBay... The mark up was only 30$ so I pulled the trigger since I knew it would go up a lot more later and was sold out at most retailers. And yes, I'm sure you will love this guy! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do in his King Conan adventures!

YW! Yeah, Joytoy is an overseas company. They mainly deal in 1/18th scale figures (which their Warhammer lines are) but in the WH lore these sons of the Emperor, the Primarchs, are like giants so they come in around 7 inches tall, give or take. They all wear armor that doesn't look too futuristic (for the most part) so they could work in a sword and sorcerer theme. The Primarchs are a bit on the pricey side, but they are very well done and they are big and solid figs.

Yes he does, in fact I'm probably going to do a short video revisiting the Superman. I was able to do some kitbashing/swappping with the neck piece and now I can use the many Mezco heads on that body and it is spectacular looking now! The material they used for both figures' body suits is really high quality (surprisingly...) and it does stretch well for posing. Thanks for stopping by!
