WOAH, I was never really a fan of Star Wars but after this I gotta say I might have to get into to the lore, but overall this was truly incredible to the vfx and the voice acting truly amazing. 10/10

Many, many thanks! I spent the better part of a year thinking about this, writing it, and filming/editing it so that is a very appreciated comment, thank you! I've found that the lore of Star Wars is much more robust and well developed in games, books, comics, tv shows, etc, rather than the movies. TBH your videos, along with a few other Star Wars animators, are what inspired me to try my hand at Star Wars content, so thanks a ton for your awesome contributions to the community. The Old Republic era is my favorite time period of Star Wars lore so expect to see more from there, but I also have a deep love for Mandalorian lore past, present and future so I dabble in that as well (did a Mando video a few months ago...). Yo thanks a ton! I always tell people that I'll be the first to admit that animation skills are still a WIP, but I really work hard at sets, story, and suspension of disbelief. The custom figs allow world building on a budget. Just got to be a lil creative and be willing to put in the work. There's definitely more coming with this story so stay tuned!

you re very good at building convincing worlds - universes, it shines! it s very unfortunate to admit the state of the SW universe now however... I played kotor 1 - 2, but know no character here. I feel to totally miss the fun of introducing other lines s characters. some look SW, others, not as much. maybe some clothed legends mixed in there? the dialog felt monotonous about initiated people that know the politics. was that Malak? he looks similar... I was mostly curious at how good you d do with jedi powers. not bad, sometimes a bit fast but ok. SW is now so divided, one guy can t keep up to the tale. great designs for some, others like ant head, not as much... like I m not fan enough to fully enjoy it to the full. perhaps I also prefer the old recipe, a straight forward 'faster more intense' Lucas way. maybe I also miss the white troopers in numbers. the movie is stuffed with characters, too much for a newbee that is lost like me. I like robots, those are not the droids I was looking for... testimony to the fall of SW, it has 700 views compared to 6k for Joes. ok, I m preaching for my sacred church here, my Joes! Obi one ; the wise man said water was always wet in summer. may the force keep you cool! good show bro.

So this was an experiment of sorts. The old republic setting, backdrop and history is based on the Star Wars the Old Republic RPF video game. Every character in this video is an original character that I created, except for Darth Malgus. He is the main bad guy in the video game. It's a pretty big risk (for a content creator like me) to make content that does not have familiar characters in it to drive interest, but I've always wanted to make a SW "fan film" with original characters so this and my Mandalorian stop motion are my forays into that. I have plenty of star wars figs that are well known names but this was a "passion project" as I love the Old Republic setting. Funny part is I did not expect it to get more than a couple hundred views so its doing quite well based on my expectations, LOL! Also, I just started SW content so I'm not sure how many of my subscribers even like SW, so just trying to build and establish that fan base. Force powers and the SW vibe is something I'm working on, its very different from my usual. If you haven't yet check out my Mandalorian stop motion, I'm curious to knw what you think of that. It definitely a thing during the Old Republic era... They were completely involved in the war against the sith. This story is based around the old Republic video game era. Check it out if you don't buy it. Thanks for watching!
