It would have been interesting to let them see the picture for thirty seconds but then draw their version from memory. Just to see which parts remained faithful to the original (and thus showed which parts of the picture we as humans considered to be the most important)

7 and 15 had some charm though. 60 looked pretty smooth too.

30 fps looks the best. I actually have done something like this with my animations, where the protagonist moves at 60 fps and everything else moves at different frame rates.
