Yes, I’ve seen those videos too. I’ve never had that problem. Actually I did some test to see if that was true. In one test I used Serato Dj Pro, I played a song with the pitch slider at 0 then moved the slider up and down stoping at different points on the slider while checking the tempo percentage on the Serato software. They matched perfectly every time. If the tempo slider was on +4,5,6,7,8 that what Serato was reflecting too. I can’t speak for other people but I’ve never had that problem with the Technics MK7S.

Unfortunately the Denon Prime Go or Prime 4 do not have the sampler feature. There is a work around. You can make a crate containing your samples then load them individually to a deck with cue points as triggers. Not the most convenient but it will work.

Update. I said the finish scratched easily. I was wrong. I just recently peeled off the protective plastic, that is what scratched.

@@ducpao Hello, the answer is yes. Both mic outputs are received by the one receiver and the output of that one reciever is going into the mixer.

@@djciscov1 thank you for following up! I guess the thing that I didn't say was that I was trying to separate those audio channels and have their levels controlled independently on the mixer. On my own I also learned that you can easily pick up a 3.5mm trs(stereo) to 2 XLR (mono) y-connector that will do the trick!

Why is it always the right side player? I'm having the exact same issue on a prime too. The player on the right hand side is the one having this glitchy, pausing issue..

Try reinstalling the firmware with no drives connected to the unit. If you have a SSD installed in the bottom make sure to take it out first then try the reinstall with a usb thumb drive that contains only the firmware. Maybe that’ll work.

That sucks, I would hate to part with my Prime 4. It really is a great unit. Are you still covered by factor warranty.

The unit has a warranty from Guitar Center which is great but at times when a unit goes in for repair there is a 50/50 chance it may be fixes or may not be, I think it may be a sensor, I have the Prime Go and Prime 2 which is 100% great for scratching the platters on the 2 are different then the 4. I have the Pioneer xdj xz and my plx1000 with my Rane70, I also use the rane 12's but was looking for a complete all in one unit. The crew at Denon are great with the feedback and do care, so I cannot fault them there may have been some defective units during that production batch. Who knows I just to keep the music going.

My prime 2 left hand jog wheel stops playing. When I switch the unit off and on again it works for a while and does it again. Are you having the same problem?

I still had the issue with the jog wheel on the left, steady communication with Denon support, they were helpful but if the unit had a defect it just plain had a defect. Like a vehicle that has issues and those issues are among others who have the same vehicle, the auto company issues a recall to fix the issue, I know Denon can't just hand out a $1900 unit to everyone who encounters an issue, and there are not too many Denon repair places and of course since some have this whole Denon is not industry mentallity you will not get the priority and quality of repair at "authorized Denon service repair places". I REALLY LOVED THE PRIME 4 WAAAAY BEYOND IN USER INTERFACE !!! I still have my Prime 2 and Prime Go ( which I wish there was manual loop adjustment, maybe next update ? ) these units in my opinion are great units. I don't give compliments just so they can send me gear, I give compliments because it is fact. 1982 to present, from Sony, Technic, Vestax, Pioneer turntables, Gemini ,Clubman, Numark, Radio Shack, Vestax, Rane, Pioneer DJ mixers, almost every controller over the last 15 years, Roland dj808 still in my top 3. So I can give my opinion and honest advice on this topic. Would I purchase another Prime 4, YES but right now I need some space, lol

@@CornishNews Thankfully I haven’t had any more issues with the P4. I still continue to use it at home and gigs. If it was a unit being released at this point in time I’d probably still set it over some other controllers being released now.

Where did you find a legit pair of MK2s brand new? I see some on eBay but have no confidence they are legit

Makes perfect sense to me becuase your unboxing is not his unboxing nor my unboxing. And you don't view an unboxing like a demonstration beacuse its not a demo. I think its a good practice to record unboxings. Just in case, for instance, you'll have claims of missing parts or a deffective unit, you'll have a video to back it up. It's more for the buyer sharing how he received his item. It will also help the seller determine if a claim is in order or not. This is how I view unboxing and I'm all for it. Peace ✌🏼
