This is a great alternative to using a traditional mic, your able to have your hands free while djing so you don't have to grab a mic for shout outs, etc!!!

Thanks for this video! I'm going to attempt this again. I attempted it with my Rane 57 with a 1/4 input and it didn't work but I will do it with the Rane Seventy Two that has the XLR input. Thanks in advance!

That's great but do I need any extra connectors to output the DJ sound system into the wireless transmitter?
@djciscov1 Жыл бұрын
No, the wireless receiver is go in to your mixer.

@@djciscov1 So I just use the receiver as a digital recorder then? I don't send a signal to my camera? And is the output too hot to go directly into the receiver?

In your research did you ever find a way to send both of the wireless channels on the Rode WG2 through your mixer?
@djciscov1 Жыл бұрын
That’s a real good question. I haven’t tried that but I will this weekend. 👍🏻

@@djciscov1 thank you so much for looking into this.

@@ducpao Hello, the answer is yes. Both mic outputs are received by the one receiver and the output of that one reciever is going into the mixer.

@@djciscov1 thank you for following up! I guess the thing that I didn't say was that I was trying to separate those audio channels and have their levels controlled independently on the mixer. On my own I also learned that you can easily pick up a 3.5mm trs(stereo) to 2 XLR (mono) y-connector that will do the trick!

no phantom power in between Rode receiver and S11?
@djciscov12 жыл бұрын
The Rode wireless 2 has a great battery. I’ve never gotten less that 30% even after 6-7 hours use.

@@djciscov1 Rode Wireless GO (not 2) is beacuse has just 1 receiver, isn't?
